Oh now, Tarver is crying again! :patsch

He's talking BS again! He says everyone was mentioned as Calzaghe's potential next opponent but me, the true light-heavyweight world champion. I am the real 'legend killer'. :patsch :patsch :patschI beat Roy Jones not once but twice. I have also beaten Glen Johnson, Clinton Woods and many more top fighters in the light-heavyweight division. I am the only light-heavyweight champion who currently holds two belts and on my way to unifying the belts this year.

I just loved Jim's comment at the end of the Hopkins-Tarver fight: (speaking of Hopkins) "Legend kills." :D

Well, the Mighty Milk Dud has a point about Jones. But I can't see him giving Joe ANY problem whatsoever.

Agreed. And Tarver did KO the mighty Jones, for his first loss (not by shitty DQ that is, lol.). Joe just pulled off a split decision that many dispute over Old Bernard. Not like Jermain Taylor hadn't already done that twice either.:deal

Hey im no fan of Antonio Tarver but he looked bloody good, he out classed Clinton Woods - who I picked to beat him. Going on last weeks results, id pick Tarver to beat Dawson!!

I wouldnt mind seeing Calzaghe - Tarver thats for sure.

    :good

Tarver - Dawson winner versus Jones - Calzaghe winner. Why the hell not? Decent fights, big payday at the end for the winner.

Actually, he's right. Yes, he lost to Hop, but he did come down from 200+ like Roy did.

TARVER vs JOE would be interesting. I think Joe outworks Antonio throughout, but eats the canvas more than once.

That'll b cool, but Jones and Hopkins are fighting mainly for $$ and fun, they are well past it. Tarver and Joe have more in the tank. Johnson still gots some. The future is about to take over.

I wouldn't mind seeing this fight. Tarver does not have the same pull that Bernard does though. He should make the trip to the UK.

Surely you don't see ****ing JONES giving Joe any problem whatsoever, do you? Who do you think Joe should fight next? Being that it's not gonna be Pavlik, I think it should be Dawson or Tarver as far as who "deserves" it. I hope he fights Jones though, b/c it'll be a good fight to get rich off of. There are plenty of idiot fans who will bet on Jones, giving decent odds for Joe. :yep

Well. I'd like to see Calzaghe-Jones solely because it would be another legend vs. legend matchup, and much better than the last was. But if not Jones, IMO the only other meaningful BIG opponent for Joe is Pavlik since he's the lineal and undisputed MW champ.

Tarver has looked awful for years. He didn't look good against Woods, either, just that Clinton looked much worse. But if Tarver can beat Dawson, then all credit to him in seeking a Calzaghe fight.
