i now i will get a lot of negative feedback but this show always looked staged and they showed certain camera angles. I get that it's supposed launch careers.
Is there a show in the history of television (not just boxing) thatdidn’t show “certain camera angles”??? What does that even mean? It’s accessible boxing in a reality show format that can draw in casuals with the drama and back stories. If that turns some of them into interested fans of the sport and gives some young fighters exposure, I can’t see how that’s a bad thing.
Oh! The same camera angles plus it looks like it's staged. Most of the fights are four rounders and the fighters sometimes fight twice in one night.
If they want the show to be successful concentrate on amateur fighters with interesting backstories and the talent to be future champions. Have the show take place with fighters trying to make the olympics or something. That could be really good.
Its good for boxing, it creates a story around fighers and allows some good fighters to relaunch a stalling career.
