Martinez's career has been well timed i think, and a couple of the big dogs moved up a division. The only thing is he started boxing too late in life.

And yes, he can be hit a lot if he's pushed. We saw it in the first Paul Williams fight. I think someone with wreckless aggression will always give him trouble and hurt him. Paul Williams was a veteran by the time he fought Martinez, and was not scared of him, perhaps he took him too lightly as he was an unknown quantity at the time. He was a replacement for Kelly Pavlik.

Yes, he fought Cintron, and Margarito years ago but he wasn't a big name, or anywhere close to being a player at the time. So he was taken lightly.

I do feel howewer Chavez does not have the killer instinct, or wreckless aggression Paul Williams once had to really hurt Martinez, but i wouldn't be shocked if he drops him.

Is Chavez's chin really that good? Yes. Can he be knocked down? Of course. Can he be knocked out in this fight? Yes. Although, I don't think he will get knocked out but will get badly hurt. We don't really know how Chavez does in that situation yet.

This will all depend on the early goings. If Martinez starts controlling this fight early, it could be trouble for Chavez, but if he doesn't and loses four or 5 rounds early on, it will be a long night for Martinez. I think rounds 1 to 8 are crucial.

This may even be like Macklin vs Sturm. I think if he can tire out Martinez and take this to the later rounds. Then push everything he has onto him.

I think Chavez's best chance is to knockout Martinez when he's tired. I think a late stoppage win is possible for Chavez if he can weather the storm.

Might be the best lead up to a 24/7 yet right after Cotto/Margarito

    Nothing beats Cotto and Margarito.
Especially when they couldn't understand what each other were saying. LOL

Unless Martinez pulls out an iPad mid-faceoff to start playing Angry Birds, this one is better.

I'm just kidding honestly. I forgot about the Cotto/Marg II one, which was indeed better. But the iPad part was pretty ******ed.

Martinez bandwagon about to lose an Axel.
(Will the Sergi-ho's still ride with him after the beat down?)

I saw Chavez Jr. many times in the ring while his father and mother were carrying him around the ring after the fights. Chavez Sr. will throw the towel into the ring this time to stop the fight because he can't stand to see his son getting murdered. It's gonna be the first time in his life to see his son getting KTFO.
