Even if Martinez would dominate Chavez, there's no way Martinez wins a decision.

 

I seriously don't know who gonna win this.

But I will say this, the only reason I have doubts is because of Chavez huge size and weight advantage come fight night.

 

I was in Sergio's camp because I think so little of Chavez Jr. but if he is training with his dad instead of with Roach I think his chances improve plus he is showing no fear and Sergio was definitely intimidated mid troll attempt.

Not to mention that Chavez has a better MW resume.

 

His hands were on his knees before Sergio talked about "retiring" him & you know that doesn't mean **** anyway. :yep

See, that's the deal with this fight. Jr. could possibly just blast Martinez out of there early, but I don't think the reverse is true. Martinez needs to be on his game, especially early, to win.

Considering Jr. has two ways to win (early stoppage, punishment accumulation) and Martinez has one (box beautifully), I'm leaning towards Jr in this one.

 

Boxnation and Sky aren't picking this up. What an outrage.

Chavez is putting a lot of faith in his chin, if he walks forward recklessly that's suicide against Sergio, applying pressure is just what a counter puncher like Sergio loves
