    great preview.

I like both fighters, but its hard for me to find Chavez intimidating with his derpy down syndrome like face. Dude had me crackin up when he started raising his eyebrows with that **** eating grin. If I was Martinez during that moment I wouldnt have been able to hold myself together.

I stand by my opinion, Sergio might be the weakest 160 titlist of all time.

Martinez will be moving around the ring staying on the outside, countering and coming in with jabs, then moving out and doing the same thing.

It's really all about styles and effective aggressiveness. If you look how Macklin pressured Sturm for instance, and how he tried to do the same with Sergio. Macklin is a pressure fighter with boxing skills which are a few shades below a world class level contender. I wouldn't call him a bum, but a tough journeyman and not a gatekeeper like some think of him.

Macklin never uses proper combinations and throws very basic punches. A punch to the body and then backs away. A left jab to the head head backs away and comes forward. Then repeats this and goes backwards when he doesn't have an answer. He never paces himself properly. His style often makes his fights exciting, as he swarms his opponents but hasn't got the boxing ability or ring I.Q to beat a world class level fighter.

He gave Sturm perhaps one of his toughest tests to date. I rate Sturm aswell, and Sturm's conditioning and timing really won him that fight. He waited patiently until Macklin burned himself out. The difference between Sturm and Macklin, was Sturm had knockout power. He has the best jab in the division. The only downside with Sturm is he relies on this too much, and perhaps doesn't have many answers against pressure fighters. His style makes him predictable. He uses a highguard too often, much like german based fighters with a similar style to his. His punch output can also be very limited at times, as you never know what Sturm will show up.

Martinez vs Sturm would be like Martinez vs Barker. The only difference is Sturm has legitimate power which Barker does not. He would have enough power to hurt Martinez, but unfortunately would not be active enough. He would be knocked out.

Chavez Jr would knockout Sturm. I think his style is made for him.

I think Andy Lee is a slightly lower level fighter than both Macklin and Barker.

Chavez Jr's weight and size will help him. I just hope he knows how to engage soneone like Martinez.

There should be some options for the winner and loser after this anyway.

I think Martinez should retire if he loses, unfortunately. Or go out with a bang and hope to get a fight with Mayweather, or the winner of Sturm Geale.

I hope after all this is done there will be fights with Canelo, Lara, Pavlik, Golovkin, Pirog, Quillin, and so on to make this interesting. If Chavez wins howewer he will probably be pitted against soft touches again and then probably takes on Pavlik.

Arum would build a legacy for him much like his father had fighting bums for long periods to keep his record intact.

Chavez would be a lamb to the slaughter at 168 against anyone good. He would give guys like Allen Green or Jean Paul Mendy a fight. He would probably give Pavlik a good fight at 168, too. But anyone other than that he gets destroyed.

This is going to be good. Either Martinez boxes him up or Roid JR will walk him down on somr seek and destroy ****. Martinez counter punches are the key. He has cracked some chins but Jr has his fathers so we shall see.

I don't see Sergio's style as boxing in and out. It is more like jumping in flurry or throw big shot and then jump out and wait for opportunity to do it again. He doesn't really do it effectively though and like I said the jab hurts him because he can be timed doing this and really doesn't have great stamina because he is constantly gasping for air mid fight.
