Now Im sorry i dont have any good footage from when i went to a gym so i just got up and did a bit of shadowboxing and filmed it. Now i never said i was great or anything other than an amateur. but i do think i know basic punching form despite what some people say. This is me 50 pounds heavier than when i boxed and after a few years of not hitting bag or pads or any boxing training. Anyway. https://streamable.com/f8jhe
No way i make 175. Im 250 now i was 200-205 in shape when i was 18. reznik batters my drained Corpse around
That's some nice casual shadow. You do have a tendency to drop your right cross a bit low, same thing happens to me after a long layoff. Kinda lazy move, you know
I dont even train but i might start again. Its hard mentally and physically. You gotta be ready to push your body and be in the mindset where you accept that pain and getting hit in the face is part of the sport
You don't bring your delt to your chin once in the video. The jab comes back super low. You don't change levels at all when going to the body. You telegraph all of your punches. Chin is completely unprotected. We can't see your feet which is the most important part of the punch.
Yeah im sure alot of that would resolve if i started training again. But i was never textbook perfect, especially in shadowboxing
Textbook perfect? That's the only way to throw the punch dude. Laying off of training doesn't make technique worse.
OK, let's just make it at HW. Golovk.. I mean Reznick punches like a heavyweight anyway, let's get it on! PS, Nice shadow boxing (for an arm puncher)
