I just feel bad for all the readers who have been had by pseudo experts with eloquent writing. And all the people they convinced to join their BS train by taking advantage of other peoples good will who don't want to engage in petty and dumb arguments, because there are much greater, productive things to discuss and learn. There will always be the peanut gallery group...
Yes there is an objective measure but you have to take into account the context. Marciano had LaStarza at the edge. No way was LaStarza about to start counterpunching Marciano at that point. It was a risk worth taking at that point in the fight. I mean no ill will towards you and never have. I don't want to give you the feeling that I do because I understand that my posts come off as a little hostile. I just put a lot of emotion into my interests.
Wouldn't hurt to ask. Never know. He might know someone who knows someone. And he really takes the time to help, great guy.
I wasnt trying to criticize marciano at all, i was just commenting on reznick calling ezzards description of the "perfect uppercut" an "arm punch" The argument there was over the semantics of what an arm punch is and that a wider punch is more likely to be an arm punch than a tighter one so reznick ad i were arguing, him and i just have different definitions of an arm punch he explained his. In the thread i said I dont think Marciano's wild-ish uppercut was inappropriate since he followed up immediately with a left, his opponent was reeling. I think Marciano did the absolute best with his physical gifts. If i think he could beat a Joshua is a different story but just because of the size difference. We're good.
You didn't say anything wrong there. Reznick's reaction to a perfectly fine description of an uppercut and his incoherent ramblings about arm punches and elite haymakers said it all. Don't look to Mr. DW for impartiality here.
Dude, I said "Wow, beautiful uppercut." At a Marciano clip, and Eddie and you went into a freaking tirade! You're acting like I'm the unreasonable instigator. lol sigh
Do it So much talk. "If I did!" "Oooh, I want to.!" "I'm tempted" Is this your way of saving face every thread, so you can continue pushing your bull**** in the next one?
Damn I paid half, and do pads for free with professionals and junior trainers. $100 is not that bad though. In my experience the most humble people in the gym are the guys that actually spar and fight. Isn't that funny how I knew you paid for pad work simply by your attitude towards boxing?
Im wondering if you can top reznicks latest footage too! He showed off some good stuff! https://streamable.com/v8j4b
If you do upload something, we both know it'll be ugly and embarrassing. Which is why you won't. Watch guys. In the next 30 days, Kevin will not upload footage of himself boxing. Despite telling others to. Will quote this in 30 days.
Lol. Are you a serious prospect? I'm a very humble guy in the gym, even though I've only done light sparring. Dont assume that because I sometimes critique and criticize successful boxers, and regularly make fun of your nonsensical delusions that I'm not humble in real life. I got a long well with a lot of folks at my gym, from kids who were in there because their parents were trying to keep them out of trouble to a pro who's fought on showtime and hbo. Not sure what any of this has to do with anything though.
