Ok, how about a 1973 Foreman vs 1991 Holyfield?

Holyfield dosen't see the end of round 2. Foreman..'73 version would anillhate him ala Norton. Like a lion killing a hyena.

I love Holyfield.......but prime Foreman would be too much IMO.
1991 Holyfield was not too smart and wouldn´t try to box with George...

'73 Foreman vs Holyfield (of the Douglas fight)?

Holyfield exhausts Foreman and gets the TKO

Foreman would have stopped him in '91 but was just too heavy.
'73 Foreman was much slimmer and quicker and would have stopped Holyfield.

Foreman KO too powerful, and 73the foreman way quicker than
92 Foreman. Holyfield would slug itout and get caught

I think this might b a little exaggerated . Foreman might have stopped him but Holyfield would have hit him back and he did hit hard even if he didn't master d art of landing sharp accurate elbows like Tyson .
Holyfield was more durable than Norton & Frazier .
Holyfield would have probably boxed Foreman but could still b in a problem even so or when he decided / dragged in2 a brawl .
Holyfield had many and much more impressing stoppages wins and KDs than Ron Lyle had . He was a much more proven puncher and more durable than Lyle as well .

Foreman KO3 or KO4, if Holyfield makes it past the 2nd.

Holyfield wasn't a natural heavyweight. He was a beefed up cruiser that would be facing the 70's most murderous puncher aside from Liston and Shavers. Don't think Holyfield could work Foreman long enough to survive the necessary rounds to knock him out like Ali did. Can't say he'd get up 6 times like Joe either if he 73 George connected cleanly.

    Holyfield TKO 10.

I could see Foreman getting an early KD and hurting Holyfield but Evander had great recovery ability and a huge heart. Holyfield could box when he needed to and he could move.

It would be a brutal fight for both guys because Evander can hit to.

I think Foreman would eventually gas and Holyfield would give him an excuse to hit the canvas.

I'm with you. Foreman in 3. Amazing that Foreman's talk that he was better as an old guy is believed by some here. He was an awesome wrecking machine in 1973, and if Ali hadn't outsmarted him, no one would have touched George for another 5 years.

The Moorer that beat the snot out of George for the first 9 rounds . . . goes out in 2 in 1973. Is this even in doubt?

And notice that Ali never gave Foreman a rematch.

Holyfield would get blitzed despite his immense talent. Awesome heavy vs. great cruiser/but inconsistent heavyweight, here.

Foreman would run thru him... Holy was great for his size, massive heart, tough as **** & a very good boxer but he takes too many punches to survive that version of Foreman IMO.
