Add his amateur career + pro career = HW GOAT contender.

Tank lost to Pitbull Cruz. What the hell are you talking about?

I'm not sure Floyd beats Usyk. Would be an interesting fight. I favor Inoue to beat Usyk from what we've seen

Hmm no he hasn't Usyk has a slightly better Cruiserweight resume but Holyfield's Heavyweight resume includes names like Tyson, Foreman, Holmes, Moorer, Mercer, Bowe etc. Clearly he hasn't surpassed Holyfield at all.

Since I found this site in 2016-ish I very rarely disagree with anything you post.

    He’s not a top 5 ATG heavyweight.

He’s probably in the 20-30 range.

But given he is top 3 ATG cruiser and when you look at his whole career he is probably top 20-30 P4P all time now.

But he ain’t even close to a top 5 heavy.

His resume needs more as a heavyweight. But Holyfield actually didn't have that many big wins as a heavyweight. He beat Tyson twice and Bowe once by razor-thin majority decision. But he was beaten twice by Bowe and twice by Lewis. He had a surprisingly tough time against ancient ATGs like Holmes and Foreman. Holyfield could be very inconsistent. He beat the living daylights out of Tyson but was almost knocked out by journeymen like Bert Cooper and Alex Stewart. So, Holyfield's heavyweight resume is still stronger than Usyk's, but only just. If Usyk beats Fury again and then beats another top 10 guy, I'd say he is up there with Holyfield in terms of heavyweight resume too.

As for cruiserweight, I think it's not even debatable that Usyk is the greatest ever. He beat everyone who was anyone in a very strong cruiserweight era, he unified four belts in just 16 bouts, always fighting on the road, and defended his undisputed title against a former heavyweight Bellew fresh off two career-best wins against Haye. When Holyfield was a cruiserweight, the division was only a few years old, the talent pool there was almost non-existent, and there were only three belts at the time to unify. I know it's blasphemy to say that because boxing fans are a fickle bunch and the heroes of the past are always thought to be untouchable, but in all honesty, Usyk's cruiserweight run is leagues above Holyfield's.

Usyk never lost though. I do believe that winning the fights does matter.

Usyk is minimum top 3 p4p of the 21st century. He's even greater than Morales now, who I had #3 p4p of this century so far.

Beating top 10 contenders always boosts your standing in ATG lists

I put Usyk in the top 10 ATG heavyweights conversation already, but he has work left to do to go higher. Look at the resumes of Holyfield, or Tyson, or even Wlad. One of Hrgovic, Parker, or Kabayel would definitely be a good place for Usyk to start

The crazy thing about Usyk was him always going to opponents back yards and taking their undefeated records or titles

Actually, the points he made are some of the shittiest I've seen on here in quite some time. Usyk moved up and beat fighters who were much bigger than him, who people thought he couldn't beat, due to the punching power, size and accuracy of one and the immense size, skills and versatility of the other. Chisora and Dubois were also bigger than Usyk, but no one is bending over backward to praise him for that. Because it's not just the size that matters, it's the total package. Dubois beat a larger guy who went life and death with Lucas Browne a few months before, who was morbidly obese and a bit of a featherfist post being popped for PEDs. Povetkin beat a massive guy, renowned for his glass jaw and inability to keep even moderately decent pressure fighters off of him, I mean Pricey got KTFO by Erkan Teper, Christian Hammer and Chisora too for **** sake. What they did was the equivalent of Tank moving up and beating Barrios. What Usyk did was the equivalent of Canelo moving up, and actually beating Bivol and then Beterbiev.

So no... you're not overhyping him, don't let yourself be dissuaded by bull**** peddling intellectually dishonest hater propagandists.
