I was unbiased for this fight and no one was dominating anyone for the first half of the fight. When Haye started tiring from all that head movement and bobbing thats when Wlads jab started finding its mark, but Haye also hurt Wlad more than once and never followed through. I had it 9 rounds to 3. Haye was not winning a decision even in England.

Many of Haye's shots didn't land. He landed a few here and there, but hardly enough to carry a round. Not that Wlad was landing at a good pace either, but Wlad was picking alot of them off. SO i could see where you might feel Haye was able to steal a few.(Manny seemed to be thinking the same thing, and was imploring Wlad to open up.) But mid-to-late through the fight, it was becoming increasingly apparent that Haye was falling behind, with no answers and no real intent to force the fight.

Haye lost the first 2 rounds completely, you can make an argument for him in the 3rd but i dont think he won the 4th or 5th. Seriously im just glad your not an official judge

Wlad won rd 1 without a doubt because Haye didnt do anything at all. I think I had it 3-2 Wlad after 5 rounds but dont remember which rounds Haye won. Haye didnt win any rounds after that.

You're crazy. Wlad didn't land a single punch the first 3 rounds. Not a single one. He just missed with a sloppy jab.

I'll watch the rest of the fight soon, but the purpose of this thread was to counter this idea of it being a shutout. After watching that much of the fight it was NOT a shutout and I was honestly shocked when I saw the news that Haye lost on supposedly such a wide margin.

Even Jim Watt gave Wlad the first 6 rounds.

Did Haye land anything in those rounds ? Its great that he was dodging those punches and avoided being hit cleanly but when you dont land punches yourself you cant win the round. Wlad won those rounds because first of all he was controlling the pace, working the jab and even though he couldnt hit Haye cleanly, he connected somewhat with his jab while Haye would throw like 5 punches per round.

there's just no way to score round two to Haye. That can't be justified.

In all due respect and I mean no offence honestly - but your comments here prove that a big post count is not indicitive of great boxing knowledge
or of how to score a fight .

I didn't hate the fight like most. I actually thought it had some suspense to it. (probably cuz i put 800 on klit to win, and 400 on the under) It did look like Haye found a way to land a weird left hook at the end of the fight, but it was far too little too late. Was also surprised at Hayes durability, although he did look a little wobbly in the knees at one point late in the fight. I don't see it as the disgrace to boxing that it is being labled as. Haye was competitive and lives to fight another day.
