Why are Pac fans so quick to point out that Mayweather's blood testing demands are unprecedented and not needed, when Pac demanded Mayweather be penalized 10Million per fraction of pound overweight which Mayweather quickly agreed too. Aren't Pac's demands equally unprecedented ? Why the double standard ? It wouldn't be a problem too me except for the fact that Mayweather agreed to Pacs terms and Pac wont agree too Mayweather's far easier demand.

Cuz pac is scared that if he loses his "mojo" he won't perform the same as he could with it..

I thought 10Million was over the top but Mayweather accepted it so good on him, that doesn't mean Pac has to do the same.

Pac has never fought with 10oz gloves in his entire career.

he did against morales according to some other poster...and the 147 pound division demands 10oz gloves unless only BOTH fighters agree to 8oz gloves...floyd agreed because manny was crying for them to wear the "punchers" glove

    because....

if he accepts what will floyd ask for next?

if he accepts it changes the rules of boxing

if he accepts then everyone in boxing will ask for random blood testing (which would be such a bad thing!)

    ... im being sarcastic obviously

the Cleto Reyes is the puncher's glove. In the Morales fight Pac was forced to wear the Winning gloves which are much softer, even though they are 8oz gloves. In the rematch they both wore the Cleto Reyes gloves. Floyd and Manny can each wear the brand of gloves they want.

This is starting to sound like Floyd vs Oscar where everyone was claiming that Floyd agreed to a smaller ring size even though it wasn't true. I don't know whats up with that.

    Here's the bottom line:

Pac has never weighed-in above 144.
Pac has never wore 10oz gloves
Pac has never taken blood tests outside of the NSAC.

If Floyd wants to fight the same Pacquiao that other people have fought, thats great. But if he wants to fight Pac at 147, with 10oz gloves, and thinking that he is weak from blood tests, then whats the point?

he did against Morales in their first fight ...

10oz gloves are pillows and shouldn't be used by anyone at the top levels 147 and below ...

Just watch Morales vs Pac 1 and tell me those gloves don't look ridiculously huge

10 million dollar per lb penalty isn't about money and that much should be obvious.

The stipulation was designed to force Mayweather to commit to the agreed upon weight.

Considering that he wanted to fight Pac at a 154 and he came in above the agreed upon weight in his last outing, although unprecedented, the penalty is warranted in this particular case.

And wanting to ensure your opponent is clean and on even playing terms is really much different? Im still seeing a double standard.

Mayweather himself expressed this sentiment when he fought with 10oz gloves against De la Hoya.

Pac has never tested positive nor has ever been under any tangible suspicion.

Mayweather however has in fact breached his contractual weight agreement before.

    There's the difference. :deal
