The only loss worth taking back is a loss that should not have been......

......the only loss I can think of that meets that criteria is Alexis Arguello's loss vs the cheating Aaron Pryor.

For years people speculated what was in the bottle Panama Lewis asked for that he had mixed.

We now know that the mixture contained water and asthma medication that helped Panama Lewis fighters breathe easier when they were winded.

.....that and the the almost certain possibility that Pryor had his gloves loaded as Luis Resto has since described Panama did with many of his fighters.

Hell, there's a lot of losses to fighters I wish had never been, but the only one worth taking back if you could erase, is one where one of the fighters without a doubt cheated in.

Alexis Arguello should have been 4 time World Champion in 4 weight divsions.

Those losses to Aaron Pryor should be erased.

Great topic. I would say Durans loss to Leonard. It was just an uncharacteristic moment of one of boxings toughest fighters. the media and even fans didnt live it down for a long time and history has been a little tough on Duran with the "no mas" thing.

he completely self destructed instead of going to his damn corner and utilizing them.
Talent wise he is the best #140 in the world, but we will never see it because if he will never give %100 because he isnt a %100 fighter. he lacks heart. which reflects him now from back then he been touched. its over for this kid.

I look forward to watching him on undercards in which he could kick both the main event fighters ass if he had heart

check my post about being %100 its up to the coach to bring you systamaticly great, technical sound, full of wind to go 12 hard rounds, Powerful its his job he is responsible. But he cant make you fight back. and lol at all the tough guy acting ortiz did then turned around and quit when the fight came on. this kid couldv been something special.

ps. it wasnt the cut......it was the haymaker to the left eye, he didnt give his corner a chance to tell him how to avoid it. a haymaker flush from maidana and you still alive mother****a? all you got was a swole eye? go take that ****ing win from him TITO! keep your left hand high

Wlad to Brewster.... He was a better man that night.
But if you take that away from brewster you wont have Brewster-Krasniki and Brewster Lyahovic.

Lewis's loss vs Rahman. That fight pisses me off so much. Idiots use it to try and prove thta Lewis had a glass jaw even though he took bombs from guys like Vitali, Tua, Briggs, and Galotta. Guy has 1 bad night for a fight he didn't train for really and people use that to wash away all his accomplishments.

Hamed for me to, only because he's my favourite boxer. Although even if you take away that loss...he would have fought a Barrera or Morales a year or two down the line anyway. His heart wasn't in it and he fell in love with his power, and money.

I would take away Cotto's loss to Margarito aswell...there are still question marks over that victory for Margarito. And, a Cotto v Pacquiao bout would definitely have been a lot closer (although I believe Pacquiao would still have won) than it was after the beating he took to Margarito.

Billy Collins to Luis Resto - no explanation needed.

Larry Holmes losing (unfairly IMO) to Spinks when he as 48-0 and about to equal Marciano's record.

Billy Conn's loss to Louis, so close and yet do far....

Hagler's loss to a showboating Leonard

    Arguello - Pryor II
