Yeah , i know i'm a little late...but anyway i just saw the fight minutes ago and i also had to give the decision to Griffin.
    For me...

    round 1 = jackson
    round 2 = griffin
    round 3 = griffin
    round 4 = jackson
    round 5 = griffin

that aside , i was surprised to see jackson being so passive (most of the time).

Its the 3rd round thats hardest to judge..Griffin connected more but Jackson connected with harder punches.. Rampages output has always been minimal..he's explosive yes..but not busy at all

    It's about damn time. lol

You scored it the same as the rest of us did when we watched it live. Griffin gutted it out. Great fight. Let's see a rematch. Match up the rest of the guys for a real #1 contender's position.

i thought he used to be more active vs wanderlei for example..(but maybe that has to do with wanderlei's stile , forcing jackson to constantly be way more aggressive)

i don't have a pride bias. It may seem that way because i always criticise the ufc.

But if i'm judging the fighters (not the org) , and just being concentrated on the fight. Then i can have a neutral point of view and not be influenced. Griffin won...as simple as that.

Next , i wanna see Griffin vs Machida or a rematch. But it'll never happen.

Just got around to watching it as well after my holiday and saw it the same as you guys. Griffen the winner and a rematch would be good a couple of fights down the line.

  9. :good That's what I had.

I'd give Forrest a 10-8 second round too.

I thought the same thing, I would have guessed you would have blamed the UFC and it was a fix for Forrest and yadada.

Good to see you don't have total tunnel vision.....I scored it the same way you did for the record...3rd round razor close even the 5th was close but Rampage wasn't busy enough. He wanted to counter all the time....that's great but when your game plan isn't working he should have stepped it up.

I told you that you'd see it that way, all you had to do was watch it. Alot of crying over this fight for nothing.

The "rest of us"?, your having a laugh, Jackson was blatantly robbed and it should have been at least a draw, imo Griffen didn't do enough to take the belt from the champ.

What exactly is that supposed to mean ? Any round that the challenger doesnt blow out the Champ should go to the Champ ? If you look at your scorecard and it says Griffin 3-2 you should change it to Rampage because its close and hes the Champ ? That is bull**** and just an excuse for people. Why should a guy win a fight but not be credited with the offical win just because he wasnt already the champion ?
