Robinson, Ali, Charles, Greb, Armstrong, Langford, Duran, Leonard, Moore, Louis, SRL, Pep, Pacquiao, Fitzimmons, Chavez SR...No order. Would Anyone disagree @McGrain ? This is off the top..Barney Ross is also a tidy shout out.
I wouldn't have Chavez Sr that high personally although I agree with the other names. As for Pacquiao ? Definitely possible he could be rated in the top 15, I'd have to look at a list of names but I would say for certain top 20 is definitely fair.
Top 25? Behind Pac and Oskee Oskee has Chavez, Mosley, ike, Tito, Hernandez, Whitaker, Gonzales, Mayorga, Vargas, Sturm, Ruelas, Carr, Coley, Ruelas bros, Gold Medals The list goes on.
Respect. No matter how much you disrespect Pac, as long as you keep it real in the end, you okay in my book. @Pimp C Turbo got jars of Floyd's nut sweat in his safe and would put one in your dome if he knew you was sliding into Floyd's DMs, but he keeps it real. You could learn a lesson. Pac > Fluids Jr.
I think you cant do this. Its impossible to compare old school fighters to the modern era. Less fights, modern sport science, 12 rounds instead of 15, weigh in day before. I will always say this though. Pac is the greatest fighter since Duran and the best of his era. I consider Floyd the most talented of that era. Its fine by me if anyone feels different about it but to me its fair to claim that given his accomplishments. But to say he is better than say Willie Pep or Sam Langford or Henry armstrong feels unfair and difficult to compare.
We're wondering if Naoya Inoue, one of the greatest fighters of all time with a sublime skill set and frightening power, can be effective at 130, nevermind 147-150. Pac is a former flyweight. Pac is the GOAT.
if you like earthquakes ,,,,, Also Jimmy Wilde...the Atomic Wilde. McClarnin, Ross, Williams. Its called the Black Murderer'a row, Burley, Williams (Ike) may be greater than Duran (dropped and beat Kid gavilan) Didnt get his due because he was black
Fair points - better than Pep? My bad. The footage of him outboxing Saddler is very cool - he shouldve been dead by then.
Ain't it that much more magical seeing Pac drop and beat a prime and much bigger Thurman in his fourth different decade of competition?
