    They must have never seen boxing and then just spotted it whilst zapping on their remote controlls, seeing a ripped guy talking smack, and then all of a sudden he's a world beater.


    Makes the wheel spin for us real boxing fans that laughs our asses off at this :rofl

    Yah, it seems some fans get whipped up into a frenzy based on a fighter's personality instead of his abilities. That doesn't mean Miranda sucks, but his antics made him seem a little more menacing than he actually turned out to be.

    That's why the Pavlik fight with Miranda was so enjoyable. All Miranda talked about was Taylor before the fight. Pavlik then ground him up. Taylor would have KO'd Miranda as well. I hope he finally fights/ko's Miranda.

    AA looked very strong tonight. Should be a great matchup with Pavlik.

    i'm not going to flame you for this post but, as a fighter, you can't judge a fighter's ability on his shape (or weight) alone.

    abraham going 12 with a busted jaw (win or not in the first fight, you choose), did a hell of a lot more for his state of mind than it did miranda.

    character is a big thing. abraham has it - and he knows it.

    Right. If Pantera couldn't stop AA with a broken jaw, there was no way he could stop him with an intact jaw. AA had to feel confident. Miranda is just a big talker. He dismissed Pavlik before their fight. Glad he got the twin beatdowns he richly deserved. Hopefully he'll go away.

    Congrats to King Arthur, who will give Pavlik a great battle, win or lose.
