The lad is a one-dimensional plodder that guns forward trying to load up with 1 or 2 punches. No combination work or significant bodywork, a defence that leaves his left side of the face bare for a right hand over the top every time.

He looked terrible and got knocked down against Ajisafe (who is he and what has he down by the way!!!) and gets hammered in the first 2 rounds against Mckenzie. Not saying he has a Khan or anything but his chin is definitely suspect.

The only good things he has going for him is a forceful jab and decent power, but don't mistake what i say, Cleverly beats him everyday of the week imho. I said it 1 year ago and i will say it again now, Bellew is domestic level at best.

    Thoughts and thanks in advance...

Tony posts on this forum reguarly.. Clev don't :deal

Bellew's a cruiserweight anyway. No way he should be that thin just to make light heavy. He's shown in his last two fights that he can't hold a shot properly at 180 lbs with legs that skinny and he should forget Cleverly and just move up to a more natural weight. There's plenty more from him that we haven't seen yet. It's hard to say exactly what level he'll get to but he is still potentially better than his last two fights.

Bellew has a puncher's chance at best. No doubt he hits hard, but he is too reliant on power. 3 knockdowns in 2 fights at domestic level isn't the kind of form you want to be in if you're calling out a fighter who is looking at world honours in the near future.

Havn't seen this yet but if he's been over a couple more times it might be time to think about cruiser, yeah.

Aside from being stronger and more natural he'll probably benefit from the extra speed he'd have at that weight, and his raw power would be more useful if he's landing more regularly.

Bellew is seriously dellusional if he thinks he is going any further than a domestic class fighter. Another scouser who has ideas way way above what is reality.

Considering he 'smashes people heads in' and that he is 'the mutha****in best' i was expecting a little more. i know he posts on here and the brown nosers gather to help toss him off, the fact remains that Bellew is one-dimensional and prone for a beat-down from Cleverly who would set traps and pick him off all night long. I'm not here to put the poor lad down, i am merely highlighting that he has no ****ing chance in beating Cleverly the nuthuggers need to silence...

Why is he a cruiser? He was a fat amatuer thats why he was heavy. He is a true light heavyweight and an average one at that..

I'm not going to rule him out just yet. His biggest weakness is his temperament. The knockdowns where from complete lack of concentration because he is far to desperate to impress knock out his opponents. The weaknesses he is clearly lacking is Speed and Defense, OK those are two big attributes to be missing but he showed me some good skills tonight.

Bomber is too passionate and confident for his own good, he needs to realise he doesn't have the speed and angles to go for early knockouts. He has to open up his opponents before he goes looking for the big shots.

And I agree his body looks far to skinny, but the problem is that at 200 he is to small, he is a man without a division right for him I personally think 185 would be perfect for him. Even though there is no doubt that he is probably weight drained I cannot help but feel that his body isn't balanced correctly. I think he needs to try another trainer and conditioner just to have a change of environment and schedule.

But I think he will look far better if he is kept active, if he is less ring rusty and doesn't feel the need to be extremely pleasing and impressive then I think he will be far better. I think he should be out 5 times in 2011 injuries permitting.
