Ok, let me get this straight, some of you guys actuall think Bellew can beat Clev?

You could tell from where we were sat that he was as dry as a bone.

Needs to put a stone on for me.

Did well to come back and get the job done, but he just looked lethargic in there half the time.

 

I wasn't impressed with Cleverly either to be honest, but I'd still make Cleverly a favourite based upon who they've been in with so far.

Like I say, Bellew needs to move up as soon as for me, before it ****s him up Alex Arthur style.

clev needs to keep his feet on the ground.

i dont think clev will have the power to trouble anyone at top world level, he's a bit of a slapper.

 

A mixture of the fact that Tony posts on here and so do people who know him have caused him to be way, way over-rated on this forum.

If he moves up, he'll hopefully get his spark back, but at 75, he either needs to look at some things or re-evaluate his ambition.

 

Like I say all entitled to your opinions, Im gonna evaluate the weight although I made it great this time it's true It does take a bit outta me but thats boxing!! Lets not forget I got caught off a good puncher who has flattened cruisers and came back at him, Im not gonna get entrapped in the cleverly talk as he has his career and I have mine!! I don't need him and he don't need me to go somewhere..

I can do something in the game and I'll prove that, If people think me posting on here makes people tell lies then I'll just read! Im a boxing fan and enjoy adding my ten pence worth and believe I can take and give banter quite well..

Like I said I won a fight pople thought I could lose and I stopped a man who dont get stopped really!! I wanna pay big respect to Ovill as he's a good fighter and everyone says that about him from Dunstan,Jeffries,Dolan,Maccarinelli!! They all told me he is highly dangerous!! He's a good fighter and can do something!! Good luck to him..

I reckon Bellew has a fine chanceof beating Clev, I don't rate Clev. Clev stands there throwing plenty of punches which aren't going to stop Bellew, i can envisage Bellew just pinging him out with a sweet right hand whilst Clev is throwing some uppercuts or something leaving himself open. Hope so anyway.

I think that pretty much sums it up. I fancied Ovill for the upset in this one so credit for coming through a tough fight. People are sometimes a little too quick to judge and don't always see the bigger picture. McKenzie and Ajisafe are tough fights for almost anyone, especially someone with the little pro experience that you have. They're all learning fights and ok you don't look spectacular right now but the important thing is you learn. It's nice to come away with the win because it makes you a bit more marketable still being unbeaten but the learning is the only thing that matters in the end. Keep working mate and I believe you can do something. A British title shot sounds pretty good early next year, I don't think there's too much domestically that should cause too many problems and there's still a few decent fights out there.

 

I do wanna see you fight Cleverley though mate. For years our domestic scene has been void of fights that should have happened, but now we're getting fights and it's quality, ad exciting. So let's not break the trend, get in there and smash him up son!

 

based on his last 2 performance,he wont be going anywhere.imo its only a matter of time before he gets sparked out.

 

I dont know whats why everyone is going on about Cleverly they are both in different places if one or other end up in the position where they have moved up or moved down levels to fight then so be it.

For the time being im excited about seeing what Tony can do against the domestic LHWs lets see the Macintosh fight for the British title. Early next year then just keep going through opponents. Would like to see him reach 19-20 fights by end of next year
