Ok, let's discuss why GGG should move up to SMW after the DeGale fight

There's no one below 175 that's in the same level as GGG. He can easily move up and own 168 the way he has owned MW. IMO he should stay at MW until he beats Hopkins's historic 20 defenses and then move up.

 

Degale has all enormous talent, but is unfortunately a mental midget. His stamina issues is definitely more mental than physical because he did next to nothing the entire fight, definitely not anything to tire an top athlete.

 

After canelo 168 has the biggest money fights if that fight dont happen within a year he needs to move up period

Medina had been pretty good as of late coming off a big knock out

It happens alot fighters especially mexican fighters loss alot of fights early in career then find resurgenses & become good to maybe hall of fame fighters

Degale bute & jack are still way more respectable wins than anybody at 160 including canelo

I want him to move up. If there was 1 single Boxer at 160 or below who had a chance against him i would want that fight but there isnt, he beats the lot and beats them easy, which is why most of them dont want to fight him.

Id happily watch him in against Lee, Saunder, Jacobs, Quillin but they arent in a rush to get him in the ring, im not the least bit bothered about the Canelo fight cuz the Mexican cant beat and wouldnt even face the names i have just listed let alone GGG.

GGG himself looks bored, he isnt being pushed in these fights, he dont jump on on the ropes after the fight because he hasnt done anything amazing he has just done what himself, his corner team and everybody else was expecting would happen.

He needs to move up just to challenge himself. I know he wants the belts but they are pretty much being hidden from him.

 

SMW has lost its lustre following Ward moving up and Froch retiring. The Degale match would have been good as a first foray into the division but it hardly seems worth moving up for.
