    Ok guys , let's not get to crazy about Pavlik, stylisticly he match well against Jermain, he won but he got pounded drop, cut, and at times easily handle by Jermain, he showed incredible heart and determination ...but lets be real...at this point ...he will need to have 2 easy fights before he can get with WW or BHop or any other top 160 or 168 top shelf boxer...let him enjoy the win...one step at a time....he showed some defencive deficiencies that need to be address before he can go with a crafty master like BHop or a slick southpaw like WW

    He really needs to improve his defense...he's just too straight up. That said, I think he could beat Winky right now.

    I'm not sure about Hopkins though. How would Pavlik carry 175 pounds and would it have a positive or negative effect on his performance. Could he outwork Hopkins and win a decision? Could he stop Hopkins for the 1st time? Or would Hopkins slick and cagey style give Pavlik trouble enough for the 42 year old to pull it out? Could be an interesting fight, but I doubt we will ever see it.

    Hopkins is getting old and his workrate is horrible now. I think he could beat him on that alone. Hopkins is getting by against older fighters, but fighting Pavlik will be another thing entirely.

    I think he could be 175 easily if he has been draining to make 160. He has a big frame. I still think Dawson beats him rather easily.

    BHop experience will eat Pavlik alive....let;s not get crazy here please...Jermain style was taylored made for Pavlik, and he needed to digged deep so he could win so..yes ..he beat Jeramin but that;s it for know, he needs to improve on his defence before he can even start talikg the slick WW or the slippery BHop

    Bernard couldnt even get past the workrate of Taylor. Pavlik takes him at this point.

    LOL you act like he has no chance to beat Bernard. He just KTFOd the middle weight champion of the world.

    This doesnt have anything to do with him beating Mirandas ass does it? The Puerto Rican adopted Miranda?

    styles make fight and Jermain was taylored made for Pavlik, and as I mentioned even with that working for him he needed to dig deep, very deep to win the fight. so a slick BHop even with his work rate will present plenty of trouble for Pavlik....BHop is to skill and knows the science...Pavlik defensive deficiencies will be exploded by the older but still slick WW....

    You know you guys are so typical ESB van wagon ass holes..again one more time....Pavlik digged deep to beat an opponent taht was taylor made for him stylisticly regardless.....capice!!

    Yes, Taylor style was made for Pavlik. Hopkins is getting old, he is slowing down, and he beats people who are either smaller than him or have no workrate. Pavlik is neither.

    Hell, Taylors style was made for Hopkins with that low left hand, looping hooks and bad defense. And he still fought him close.

    You believe what you wish. Hopkins isn't the fighter he was 3-4 years ago.
