Schaefer and Golden Boy still have the MGM Grand reserved for March 13 for Mayweather. But Schaefer wouldn't say whether Mosley-Mayweather would fill that date, or a different one, such as May 1.

"I think the first thing is going to be to see if a deal structure can be done, and then worry about the date," Schaefer said. "Floyd Mayweather against Shane Mosley is one of the biggest fights in the sport. They are two superstars, it would be a pick-em fight.

"The date will fall into place, but the first thing is to find a deal structure that is acceptable to everyone. That is what I'm working on."

Nothing here said it is a definite GO. But I love to see this fight happening more than anything else. I'd give Floyd his due credit if and when he signs this fight.
