    Now this is getting out of hand. Since when did Margaritos size matter?
    All I heard before the fight was "so what if Marg looks bigger, Cotto always hydrates and looks alot bigger". but now all I hear is wow Margo shouldnt even fight at Welter he should be a ****en middleweight? WTF as if Cintron and Williams werent big either. Margarito has always fought at welter and thats because that is his best fighting weight. If Cotto is too small for Welter that is his personal problem and why wasnt anyone complaining when he was winning :hey :hi:

    Yep,its getting ridiculous.
    He can make the weight safely and function to full capacity,so why move up and nullify many of his WW assets just to assist the other 'smaller' Welters.

    A couple years back when Cotto was fighting at 140 he would weight almost 160 pounds fight night. Now I think he probably weighs at 160+.

    Cotto was 157 against Corley who eighed in at 140 fight night.

    But this is talking about a man whose been fighting at WW all his life and he's suddenly too big for a WW because he just beat the number one guy that was the heavy favorite to win?

    At the end of the day Margo won, full-stop. Cotto was a red hot favourite. Few were going on about difference in size before the fight. If you look at the weigh in pic thread though - I was one of them. :D

    Margarito won the fight fair and square, I couldn't careless if people want to try and discredit him. He just knocked out one of the greatest fighters in boxing and without any controversy. Well done Marg.

    i'm kinda glad it didn't go 12...we would have had to hear about how cotto outlanded him and out fought him ...but then you'd have to hear about how margarito pressureed him and thats how they score fights ...

    glad it was a ko to avoid all the ****
