Of course it was, and nothing to do with, oh I don't know, some fights that happened between 2002 - 2007.

He wasn't shot but you can tell that year in half inactivity clearly affected him. Plus, he was in the ring with a much superior fighter. I don't see any version of Mosley beaten Mayweather.

That said, I wouldn't mind seeing Pacquiao in there with the Sugar Man. It's not the best possible matchup but a entertaining scrap nonetheless

he was extremely nervous. Shane comes out like that sometimes in big fights. He did it in both fights against DLH, he just managed to calm himself down.

Yes he was shot. 39 years of age coming off back to back training camps had him over trained and tired.

He gassed out after 2-3 rounds.

I sorta agree with this. I think if Mosley landed the shots on Pacquiao that he landed on Floyd, Pacquiao would've

    A. Fired back immediately and either made Mosley respect him or it would be a firefight and very short fight as one of them would eventually get hurt and fall.

Or B. Not have been able to adjust like Floyd and gotten knocked the **** out!

Yes, but he needs the money for retirement.

    No.

It was a very good win for PBF. In hindsight, Mosley might've hurt himself by waiting 16 months since his last fight (Margarito) but still a very good win.

    No.

He was old but not shot!!

Do YOU think he was shot?

If so, do you believe he was shot in his previous fight with Margarito?

The point is, Pacquiao knows from the Floyd fight that Mosley doesnt have the stamina to go a 12 round war with him. If Mosley is gonna win this one he has to do it early. Its possible because Mosley is faster, more powerful and more accurate than Margarito and look what Margarito did to him... BUT IT HAS TO BE EARLY!! First five rounds are key. I wouldnt say its a difficult fight for Pac to win but it is more difficult that Clottey and Margarito!! Team Pac will base their strategy around Mosleys stamina and it wouldnt surprise me if Roach predicts a TKO around the 10th :thumbsup

    old

    mosley vs jones for instance...

...mosley still has his reflexes and power, but he doesnt have the stamina any more.

...jones doesnt have any of it!

he was rusty and gassed. mosley hadn't fought in 2 years.

and if a 38 year old version of mosley is mayweather's most solid win in years, then he's in trouble against the pacman

I've asked this before and the response I got from "some" fans is that he wasn't shot till after he fought Floyd.
