I can understand why some people would feel that he is a bit overrated, as you said earlier. But to say that he is not a future all time great is a bit too much, dont you think?

Superman doesn't impress me.

He fed on soft opposition for most of his career, and then drew (double KO, actually) with a crude slugger in Doomsday, who also beat him by decision in a rematch (though Superman did eventually even the score with a rubbermatch KO), and whose only other wins are over a shot Darkseid, some tomato can called Kobald, a paper champion Green Lantern, and some green JLA'ers...and who got KTFO by Imperiex, outclassed by Radiant, drew with J'onn J'onnz, and was widely outpointed by Gog (who, incidentally, KTFO and retired superman himself).

I won't even go into his record against Lex Luthor, who just flat-out has his number.

 

Yes, rematches against MAB, EM and JMM. Don't you even know who those guys are? Fights against those three shouldn't be considered as dents in his record.

 

He hasn't fought an african american fighter, BUT..he's had how many fights that have ended in KO's?

 

so do you think it would be better for his resume if he did fight valero instead of morales, guzman instead of marquez and soto instead of barrera?

 

He can take all those instead fighters and kill em right now if he wanted to. Remember, we are watching a prime pac in his next 3 or 4 fights.

Pacquiao started his career at 106lbs, he became a champion at the age of 19 at 112lbs, 122, 126, 130, 135, and 140. He became the lineal champion in 5 weight divisionS.

Correct me if I am wrong but Manny Pacquiao is probably the only boxer in boxing history who started his pro career at 106 and dominate at the higher weight class.

I think it's because they dont have to try too hard anymore to defend their favorite fighter and to convince other fans how good he is.

His record speaks for itself. It's still not totally bulletproof from nitpicking and analysis and stuff, but it's clearly a good record, Pac fan or no Pac fan.
