can't you have a conviction in your self that you have to resort in this type of gayish and safe comment? i see you're from scotland but you are not doing your ancestors proud with that kind of statements. just say cotto is shot if you have some reservations. are you afraid to be ridiculed once your opinion is found wrong in the future?

    why so personal?

i cant call him shot cause i dont know if he is. couldnt tell anything from jennings, didnt look great against clottey, but had a bad cut whole fight, so again too hard to gauge

let me just say - if cotto is NOT shot - and if the catchweight doesnt affect him too much - and gets in a fantastic fight with pacman, and pacman comes out the winner - then damn right i'll give pac credit for it

    happy?

    1. Pacfans keep harping on about that. WTF does it matter what people THOUGHT before the fight? All that matters is what materializes in the ring - in this case Manny went in with a corpse of a fighter who coldnt even throw a ****ing punch! And *******s think pac should get credit for winning this because what some totally wrong people thought BEFORE the fight?

Pac logic at its formidable best :lol:

    2. Hatton wasnt ruined before the fight???

****ing hell. Try watching the Tszyu fight to see what Hatton was like in his prime. If KT couldnt do it in 11, you think Manny could do it in 2?

    Ridiculous :-:)-(

    3. How many times do i have to repeat myself before you hear me? I DONT KNOW WHAT COTTO'S LIKE CAUSE WE HAVEN'T SEEN ENOUGH OF HIM SINCE THE BEATING BY MARGARITO

being dominated by someone doesn't automatically means he is shot. take for instance his fight against barrera. after that mab bounces back and had a streak of wins including morales.

he had those fantastic fights with jmm yet you people fail to give him credit and calls it a robbery. well anyway it happens, you critics will fail to give pac some credit. props to finito, bernie, selfkill and sweetpea for already giving pac their due. it's only you, nallege and uliuli are the hardcores who had yet to realize that what pac has done was special. maybe it has something to do with your favorite fighters.

    1. it means that most people thinks that oscar still is capable of beating pac that night. why is hopkins win over pavlik look great? because people thinks pavlik would smash hopkins right? it doesn't matter if pavlik looked like the one-dimensional boxer he really is that night.

    2. could you even believe that any version of hatton would beat that pac?

    3. fence sitter

    SO IN RADAB's WORDS...

If Cotto lost to Pac = Cotto is shot!

If Cotto win against Pac = Pac is a bum

no man, thats not what i mean at all

if cotto beats pac = cotto isnt shot

if pac beat cotto in a great war = cotto isnt shot

if pac wipes the floor with cotto = cotto shot

pac is a great fighter no doubt. but so is cotto. if cotto's not shot pac cant wipe the floor with him - no one can. i wouldnt even say marquez would wipe the floor with him if marquez was bigger

cotto beat mosely, judah, and was schooling margo for the first 6 rounds. no fighter alive is good enough to wipe the floor with a still live cotto

    1. thats such a bull**** comparison its not even funny

    2. prime hatton maybe. i'd still say pac was favourite, but i'd give hatton a chance

    3. you don't even understand what a fence sitter is puggy. if i knew what cotto had left, then i could make a pick, but i dont, so i cant

That pic was really all ya needed :D:lol::D:lol:

Pity some of the fighter's "agony of defeat" shots (e.g., Barrera?) can't be tightened up with all high quality graphic files.

Or perhaps a more distant shot so you can include any cornermen tossing in the white towel of surrender ...

So Radab, according to you, Pac wiping the floor with Cotto, would
automatically mean that Cotto is shot. This is exactly the kind of "reasoning"
one would expect of a Pacteron, namely you are ruling out beforehand the
real possibility that Pac actually might be THAT great. With this way of thinking,
every good fighter that gets beat badly, would have to be shot.

This is not a viable argument. There's always the possibility that a good
fighter (Cotto) encounters a fighter that great, or a style match-up that
bad, that even while the good fighter is on the apex of his abilities, he will
lose badly to the great fighter.

By no means am I sure that Pacman is THAT great of a fighter, but I will not
rule out the possibility beforehand, by saying that any fighter he wipes the
floor with must be shot without a shadow of a doubt.

I believe for instance, that prime Pac, would beat any version of Hatton in
emphatic fashion. If he's too fast to see the punches coming, Hatton has no
chance in whatever shape he's in. Hattons only bragging rights stem from a
victory over an old KT, who I personally didnt see landing any flush bombs on
Hatton. The Pac shot that finally and brutally put Hatton under, would have
knocked out any version of Hatton.

Anyhow, ruling out the possibility of true greatness in Pac, by declaring any
good fighter he beats badly as "shot" is completely ludicrous in my eyes.

    1. what's bull**** with it anyway? pavlik and oscar were both favorites and both pac and hopkins were written off by most experts.

    2. boxing is not a sure bet. even bums do have a lucky punch. what more if its the best and undefeated 140 champion in hatton? of course he has a chance. the question is how much?

    3. ok, so just basing it with cotto and pac's last fights, who do you think would win? just factor in cotto's ugly cut and their opponent's style. it would not be that hard for you to pick since you are a boxing fan eh?

^ Cotto is too good a fighter to be destroyed by any fighter. Not only is/was he a fantastic fighter, he's also significantly bigger than Pacquiao. There are good fighters that i'm sure Pacquiao could and would blow away, but prime Cotto isn't one of them - which is what makes the fight intriguing in the first place
