The last thing Haye said in some interview in the Brit tabloids was "You know, like.. uhmm.. you know Adam is handlin' everythin'.. I'm just like kickin' back and relaxin', we'll see what happens".

You gotta get this. You get publicly called out and that's the best response he can muster? This is what they're selling us as the "most exciting heavyweight fighter of the last 10 years" and a "breath of fresh air" .. Oh boy!

I can't wait for Haye to announce his rematch with Valuev.

I give credit to the Klits for trying to make the best fights happen, but what can they do if Haye, Valuev or Povetkin are not interested. This division will remain extremely uneventful for years to come. Get ready for more Vitali - Sosnowski type fights until the Klits retire or the rest of the top 10 grow some testicles.

In fairness, I think he was on holiday and some paper just phoned him up......he's not likely to say much before Booth has spoken with Finkel properly.

If Haye and his crew were actually into the idea of fighting Wlad they could go on Sky Sports tomorrow and simply say "LOOK FOLKS, WE FAXED A CONTRACT TO WLAD, IF HE PUTS HIS NAME UNDER IT THE FIGHT IS ON FOR OCTOBER".

Why can't he do that? Haye has Sauerland, GBP, Haymaker and SKY PPV behind him. It's not like he was lacking the infrastructure. If he had a tiny iota of interest in facing Wlad at least he could make an offer that is acceptable to himself so we know his true colors.

    But he's silent.

Anyone with half a brain knows what this means. Haye seems pretty happy and content with how things are. Haye wants no piece of Wlad. Their entire handling of Wlad's challenge reeks of "Oh please, just go away and leave us alone".

I agree. IMO Haye might not fight Wlad because Haye doesnt want a "High risk" fight at this point. He wants easier fights to make cash and build his promotion company.

Once he feels like he has done enough to ensure his financial well being of his company, then and only then will he MAYBE get in with Wlad
