I'm surprised to say the least. I've posted numerous times on here that I believe Haye should and would have 1-2 more fights before facing a Klitschko. Props to both these guys if they get it done.
BTW... since your over there... how bad is this volcano thing? I might have trouble trying to get to Austria from LA for Vitali's training camp... they are canceling almost every fight to europe
I was saying in the other thread that I would advise Haye to take at least one more fight before facing a Klit........BUT........this fight CAN BE MADE NOW. The way HW boxing is, who knows what obstacles might occur down the line. The fight might end up never happening for all we know. If the £ is good.....and if Haye gets choice of venue (Wembley?), then I think he should close the deal and give the whole boxing world something to look forward to.
My sister-in-law has been trying to fly to Austria (Klagenfurt) for the last few days and has had no luck so far. That's flying from Scotland, though.
very true buddy. with boxing politics the way it is... I might be now or never. I hope now... I cant wait to go to training camp knowing Haye will be on the other side. The concentration and intensity will be off the chart:good
thank you my friend its a mess over here. Im flying back with Wladimir and we are stuck so far... they say it could be months before things get back to normal:nut
They keep putting the times back Chef, nothing concrete yet. The flight ban was supposed to be until Saturday, then Sunday, Monday 7pm is when it's supposed to be lifted, they'll have some back-log to go through.:good
thanks buddy. thought you guys might know more over there then what they are telling us here. Is it something you can see in the air there?
Nothing visible, but to the north where I am (Aberdeen) there's a smell of rotting eggs from the sulphur, not very nice.
This fight is a major deal. Why would anyone expect it to be signed and sealed after a couple of days. There will be a series of complex negotiations Neither side are bitching out or ducking they are simply negotiating the best possible deal. Maybe there will be no deal that is acceptable this will be a great shame for all boxing fans. If this is the case Haye will have to try and prove hes number 1 by doing what the Klitschkos have done beating everyone not called Klitschko as convincingly as possible.
