Lebedev is one tough SOB. Gotta give him his dues. He should have taken the belt off that loser Huck as well. End of the road for Lights out though.

Fairwell fight for both perhaps. Jones V Toney anyone?

I came so close to putting money down on Toney, but the rational part of my brain realized I shouldn't let hope cost me money.

I thought James had a decent chance, even though I favored Denis. I was dead ass wrong for thinking he even had a chance.

Problem is that the Lebedev who faced Jones...WASN'T the real Lebedev, look at his fights with Huck, Maccarenelli and Alexeev to see how good he is.

Why on earth any1 would dismiss an iron-chinned, aggressive southpaw who was arguably robbed vs Huck is beyond me.

Lebedev isn't gonna be an easy fight for ANY1 at cruiser.

He's an awesome fighter and very underrated. Hits hard enough too and comes to fight. I knew realized that from the time he destroyed Enzo Mac and put it on Huck only to get robbed big time. At least Toney travelled so fair play to him. Which one of those stay at home joes will fancy going to Russia?

I thought the only way the Russian won would be if Toney collapsed from exhaustion... which I thought might actually happen.

Why do people hate James Toney so much?

Where do you rate Lebedev against Jirov?

At one point, James Toney was a tremendous fighter, but at this point, he's a shell of his former self.

He is one of the greatest natural born fighters of our era, can you imagine Lebedev challenging the Sam Peter that knocked Wlad down 3 times, and took him 10 after going I think 8 with Vitali who is also a natural fighter and a devestating puncher.

We can only pray at this point that both fighters are protected and that whatever is necessary becomes true and that all are taken care of well into their age.

I assume the repeated steroid usage and delirious trash talking play a large part. But there probably are other reasons.
