Definitely not. Canelo is too slippery to get hit consistently.

no angles, coming direct, as is my style. you yourself stated very clearly that youll never be convinced canelo is a great fighter, whats left to be confused about? nothing to be gained by debating feelings.

In theory he could convince me, he would simply have to start legitimately start beating top level fighters without any contingencies. He hasnt done this to this point. And hes left no indication that he is man enough to take on the best without some built in negotiated advantage.

So Beterbiev has potentially shaky power then? Despite dropping everyone he has faced?

Oh Ali, I thought you were the smart one on here.

This post sums it up. A lot of the guys that hit extremely hard lose their balance to generate power. Wilder, Jackson, Marciano ... etc. Beterbiev is like a jackhammer. Short thudding shots that are closer to arm punches than the looping bombs that guys like Julian Jackson or Shavers threw. And yet you can seen Beterbiev generate big power without the need to overextend or lose his composure. Look at his style again, guys. There's very few guys that I've seen generate that sort of concussive power without twisting their whole body into it.

I think Canelo is a great fighter but he's also protected AF. The two are not mutually exclusive.

For you all not big names are cans and bums. That's it.

Yeah, he is highly skilled and talented lad and looks that he & his team cherry picks to serve fans & he is typical cherry picker fighter in hometown who cherry picks and serves fans with a glance.
Best examples for his cherry pick are Khan who was pushed up in weight classes welterweight pillow fist despite good boxer and almost finished in distance by Yarde shot Kovalev.
Btw, most impressive beat up in his life I think Kovalev had get from this Eilder , boxer who later lost decision vs Kovalev in rematch.
This doesn't matters so much, he had put on Kovalev very impressive beat up in their first fight. I even assumed that Kovalev might hang gloves up after this fight.
Canelo looks that also had cherry picked up 36 y.o Floyd Jr. and there he was wrong. This family is too well respected in Vegas to afford rob Floyd Jr or Sr on cards.

He for sure isn't like PBF era Floyd or DLH, he cherry picks and fights only in backyard.

Foreman I think actually was better in 70 ies than Ali.
Ofc, with fight in africa in country where local dictator is Ali fan with rope and dope was easier and King & Ali didn't had gave him rematch vs Ali for serious reason and milked this win as some kind of ultimate proof.
While for me Ali is 1-2 vs Frazier and 1-2 vs Norton and most likely had lost fight vs Foreman if King had accepted the rematch fight.
Foreman also had easily dealt with Norton and Frazier, fighters who had gave ultimate hell for the same famous Ali.

Sadly he had some ring rust and was after injury and he now is 36 y.o.:(
Foreman at least had more chances to get marquee fights in his prime, like Frazier too.
