I believe thats is why Hamed fought Barrera, because Hamed wanted to avoid Marquez. Marquez was too technical for the guy.

 

Exactly, barrera was brilliant that night his best ever boxing performance and this gets overlooked by people hatred of naz and love of running him down, they forget he was a great fighter, certainly not at his best that night, partly because he had left ingle but mainly because of how good barrera was, he just had his number

I have all ways felt that Barrera beat Hamad by useing the staratgy of turing a boxing match into a fight than he out boxed Hamad.

I had'nt seen that fight in two or three years. It's just funny to remember how bad of a beat down that was. The only thing recently that compares to that and went the distance was the Hopkins/Tarver fight. I love the part where Naz tries to hit MAB on the break and MAB hits him right back. I think JMM would have beat Naz just as bad but I feel Naz may have had a better shot at beating Manny or Morales just based on the fact that they would have tried to brawl more with him and JMM would have stuck to his boxing game plan. Brawling with Naz was a recipe for disaster. But I still would have made a matchup between him and Manny or Morales a toss up.
