ok trying again. Hearns and Duran recently. Hearns not much taller.

Leonard was smarter in the ring than Duran and Hearns and he was smarter outside the ring just like my man Floyd!!!

 

i never noticed before but Hearns looks like he broke his nose. Which fight did that happen in??? When he was younger it didn't look like this!!!!

 

I remember this story a year or so ago. Hearns and Duran went to England on a tour to sign autographs and talk about their careers. See this is something you would never see guys like Floyd and Oscar doing in 20 years. They are not going to go to another country and talk about their fight and thier career just because they spend all the money they earned in the ring!!!! It is sad. I am not insulting Roberto and Tommy as much as saying it is a shame. These two legends should have had millions in the bank right now!!!

 

Tommy is taller, but Roberto looks like he can put on more pounds. I don't think they look bad at all. They both look good for being older and being in all those wars.

At the age of 28, one guy was still making 135lbs when weigh-ins were held the day of the fight, and is listed as 5'7". The other never fought below 160lbs at the same age and is listed at 6'1".

There is a very big difference in size between these two.

Look at the arms, thats what was important in that fight.

 

Duran usually weighed in at 140+ during his glory days as a lightweight. The only time he ever made weight was for title fights, and I wouldn't doubt that there were plenty of games going on with the scales even then.

 

Duran gets so many excuses. He weighed in over 200 pounds between fights in 1986. Hearns was weighing in between fights at 180. Duran was near 5-8 and Hearns 6-1. 5 inches. Let's not make Hearns a Klitchko and Duran Marquez size. Duran fought at 154 in 1978 before Hearns and Leonard ever did.

 

This is not a huge size difference no matter what. Hearns looks at the most 200 or 205 and Duran looks 240. So much for Duran being this little small guy.

 

The picture isn't level.

 

He fought at 154 because he was fat.Just look at his body.That's it.Just look at his body.He was NEVER a natural 154 pounder.Duran:5'7" 66"reach.Hearns 6'1" 78" reach.Duran was MOST DEFINITELY the smaller man.The numbers don't lie.

 

Duran is ****ing fat and the picture is not level.Even you should be able to see that.
