He has dissappeared. I heard last year Roach was training him but he hasnt fought in a year and he has nothing lined up in his scheduale.

he is one of the most feared fighters in the sport I believe. as such, he will always have a hard time finding fights until he is old or shot when which chad dawson or floyd mayweather will call him out.

He got like a 9 fight contract in Germany .... So he is still making millions to fight Tomato Cans.

Not a bad career move, but he isn't trying to prove to anyone that he is the best

....felix sturm has compiled one of the best resumes in the sport. Please be specific when referring to fighters as "Tomato Cans" because I see none on Sturm's resume save for Oscar De La Hoya and Randy Griffin, both American fighters to whcih he suffered questionable diecisions. no wonder he does not want to fight in America. Besides tthere is tougher competition in Germany, fairer judges, and bigger purses.

    :patsch

I had him at 9-3 or 117-111 vs Oscar; that was the only time he decided to fight outside of germany.

Martinez should whoop his AZZ for the hell of it. It would make for an interesting clash of styles. The unorthodox fighter vs the textbook fighter.

McManama is right...he has a huge tv contract in Germany. But i have also heard that he is fat right now. like cw limit fat. if that's the case, then the only thing i see keeping his people from cashing him outta that contract with a big fight/loss is the fact that mw is so thin. he'll knock around and make millions doing it.

I don't get how the German public doesn't see him as a farce, but instead he is a superstar there. Are they really that easily manipulated by the promoters ?
