Ok, WHO does Cotto have to fight to gain some respect?

    I mean serious. People on this board don't give the kid any credit. Does he have to fight Mosley, Margo and Clottey AGAIN ? Then Fight P. Williams to get some respect and then the next day fight Cintron? I mean seriously the guy has fought the toughest opposition in the Welterweight Division and posters are saying Pacman is going to KO this guy in under 8 rounds? It took Margo 11 ROUNDS to finally beat him! Clottey NOR Mosley could put him away! Do they think he's Hatton? A standing punching bag with no movement? Unfortunately Cotto is the Rodney Dangerfield of the Division ! And contrary to popular belief Manny is going to be in for a long night!

    Cotto has always had lots of respect on this board....
    Maybe it's just that people believe Pacquiao will win, that's all !!

    Cotto gets a lot of respect.

    People always say a certain fighter is underrated or disrespected because SOME people criticize or underrate them.

    For all the flack he gets, there's a lot of people praising Cotto as well.

    The criticism magnified to new levels after the Margarito fight so I'd say a second fight against him concluding in a decisive victory for Cotto would do wonders in fending off his critics.

    Cotto is a good guy. I'm just talking trash before leading up to the fight. He's got what it takes to be one of the elite in boxing. if he's not already.

    Cotto is a good fighter, he and Manny will be in for a long night (Or maybe perhaps Manny's knuckles will be in for a long night) However when you look at Cotto's strenghts compared to Manny's, I like how this looks for Manny. You're right, nor Mosley or Clottey could put Cotto away. However Clottey hasn't really stopped anyone in a few yrs, and Mosley didn't step on the gas enough. Cotto was hit by 4, 5 punch combinations by Margo. I mean come on if he had a tough time seeing Marg coming, he's gonna be in for a **** storm vs Pacquiao who always has his foot on the gas and can outbox Cotto and might even make him look slow. I think Cotto is gonna get stopped as well.
