Cotto is a very good fighter with a strong chance of beating Pac Man...Manny has a lot more fans thats all. I think Cotto is a solid fighter who maybe can dig deep into his soul and awaken a great fighter. He needs a very solid trainer that understands his talent. I know he will definitely look at the first Morales fight and see ways he can beat Pac. It will not be easy but he could beat Pac. Miguel is a geniune draw....in his Clottey fight I was impressed how he overcame his cuts to win. He deserved to win and in my book its his greatest win.

What he does in comparison to OTHER fighters really has no credence with me dude.

Paul in 2008 was as close to perfect as it gets. He took on a fight for pretty much every season. The key to Williams is to get him fighting (and in places where he has a budding fan base) at least once every season.

If you can't get big fights, you have to force the issue. He's not doing it sitting around in South Carolina watching Fresh Prince Of Bel Air reruns (since I'm sure the fresh prince>alf). He should have a fight scheduled for the summer or the fall...and right now he really has nothing going on.

I get the idea in terms of waiting for Mosley but that fight will always be there for him. Paul should be fighting somebody...and talking about fighting Dz doesn't help matters.

Dude, he fought in February of 2009, and in April of 2009. He is going to be fighting this Fall. That will be three fights this year, with 4 last year. You see anyone else doing that **** consistently?

Why you keep saying he's sitting around?

He ain't sittin around. If Shane doesn't bite, he'll either fight Clottey, Dzin, or Cintron.

C'mon man. Maybe if Cotto would fight him he would fight next week if he had to...:good

Yo Neck' but you got to admit Williams needs Cotto more than Cotto needs Williams.

I would love to see Williams against Martinez though thats probably one of the best fights he can make at 154.

WHEN this fall though? If it were me Williams would be on a stricter fight schedule...only because the more people see of him, the more his name gets out and the more is the opportunity to sit around. He needs to have a more busy schedule (yes busier than this surprisingly enough) because if you're going to market Williams as a pseudo freak show, you need him to fight more.

Because he is? November to April is too long for a guy who wants to build himself up as a dude who'll fight anyone any time at any place. April to October or November (just a guess of course) is pretty long as well. Paul doesn't have the marketability to be allowed to rest up and enjoy some time off unfortunately. If Paul can build his name in 2009 (a time where people are CLEARLY looking for that NEXT big fighter who they can depend on), he could make his life a lot easier in 2009.

I'm just looking at the bigger picture here.

When? You seem to think Paul

Yeah but that ain't happening so might as well go for option B.

Cotto vs Mosley 2 was not in the works. You're coming off like the fight was about to be made but it wasn't because of the venue. I mean you never hear any ridiculous demands or fights being off because of purse demands. Cotto fights all comers and seems to never beef about money.

He doesn't complain about money or opposition but he is going to complain about venue??

I ain't worried. Cotto can keep duckin and dodgin. Paul will end up getting the last laugh. At who's expense? I dont know yet. But someone will grow nuts and take the challenge eventually

I mean in the works as in being discussed. Which it was. Secondly, as it relates to venue. The guy I was talking to made it sound like Cotto would not fight Shane in LA. As in he didn't have to. If you read the post I responded to, you'll see how that came about. And to be honest, it did seem like venue was the problem. I can't say that for sure, but as soon as Shane made it clear he'd fight Cotto again just not in MSG, the talks did die down.

Naa man. Your ****in' wrong in so many points its stupid. You proved that your reading comprehension needs some work as well as your deductive logic process...

For one, Mosley has been crying over ESPN and every other ****in' outlet saying that "Many people felt that I won against Cotto" as his main argument why Pac or Mayweather should fight him. So don't give me this bull**** that he praises Cotto.

Two. Cotto has an opportunity to beat the p4p king in Manny Pacquiao. That lil guy is planning to retire soon. Lemme think. If I was Cotto would I fight Shane Mosley...a guy who I can most likely beat in a rematch sometime down the road...or fight Manny Pacquiao and make an all-time high purse and get accolades for it? :think

Cotto already said he'd fight Shane if the fight with Pacman falls through so stop acting like Cotto is bitching out. Your just a ****in' ass hater. STFU and GTFO. He beat Mosley, if it were the other way around Shane would be saying he already beat Cotto etc. etc. and dont act like he would say otherwise being presented to fight Pac in front of him.

Why don't you STFU and GTFO *****? Who the **** are you to talk to me like that? You don't know me. Who were you raised by? A crackhead? We're talking Boxing and you come out talking **** to me? You can't make a point more respectful than that? Enjoy you're keyboard and computer screen, it's the only place you're allowed to talk to me like that mother****er. Now unwrap your lips from around my nuts and go back to riding Cotto's. Now I flushed my toilet, I shouldn't be hearing from you anymore. ******.
