OK......Who is pumped for Cotto vs Margorito!

You missed out being fed up of talking about Calzaghe.

Here we have a real fight between a very good technical fighter with power & a man who doesn't know the meaning of the word retreat. I'm going to go for Cotto to become the first man to stop Toni late on in an exciting fight.

 

I'm picking Cotto by close UD, but with no confidence at all. If anyone's getting stopped, I think it will be Cotto, but I think he'll somehow make it to the final bell and see his superior technical work rewarded with a decision. Can't wait for this fight! :good

 

Agreed, Anticipating a great fight and expecting a war come Saturday!.. I reckon Marg will come out Fast, swinging from the off as this will be the biggest fight of his career to date. Marg will not want any regrets in terms of starting too slow which is what he ultimately puts the Williams loss down to. Having said this, I believe Cotto has more skills at his disposal and more ways to beat Marg than vise-versa, Marg will have to KO Cotto to win IMO, which leads me to believe that Cotto will prevail in a corker!

 

I am also very pumped for Cotto vs Margorito.
My head tells me to pick Cotto but something inside me sees Margo winning.
I can't wait and am very happy Setanta are showing this fight. Sky need to pick up fights like this again.

 

Cotto by KO in under 8 rounds. Then we can get back to talking about who Haye will be fighting and how Hopkins could have had a decent legacy if he had fought a few quality middleweights instead of light welters when he was in his prime.

 

Don't forget how Joe should have given up his bauble & got a ranking with one of the three proper orgs at 175 when Jones was champ.

 

Yep. I can not think of the last thread I read that was about Joe, Hatton, Haye ect. Those threads are a real drag at the moment. Hope we get some new ideas pumped into this place soon instead of the same old arguments going around and around all the time.

 

Yes it is tiresome. People have lost sight of the fact this is a forum for fellow enthusiasts to discuss our shared passion as opposed to bickering like a load of football fans. We all have our favourites but go on the general forum & you are guarunteed to see three threads undermining Calzaghe in some way punctuated with threads about how Mayweather ducked x fighters.

 

Yep. I hardly ever go to the general forum any more and when I do I soon get tired of the bickering. The Brit forum is usually pretty decent but every so often we go through a spell of the place being awful. I will admit to being at fault sometimes. I do think in general this forum is good though as long as people can take a joke and a troll every now and again.


Anyone know what time and erm what day the Cotto vs Marge fight is on? I can't be bothered checking for myself. Thanks guys. :good

By the way, does anyone know the specific time the main event will start over here? I'm getting boozy and going out on the lash on Saturday night and hoping it is after 3am so I can go catch it at the casino after the club.......
