OK WTF, why does everyone say shane has bad defense

Doesnt matter if his defense is good or ****....floyd cant hurt him anyways...

So im guessing you're that guy who gets tired and frustrated huh?? Then eventually beat up and ko'ed?? I think so...

 

Neither great nor horrible. He has a tremendous chin for the shots that get in.

 

Too much is made of his defensive liabilities.

He's just not a cutie-pie. With his "powerboxing" style, nobody was ever going to mistake him for one. That doesn't mean that he isn't a sound defensive fighter. Yes, he has a good chin and gets recklessly brave at times. If he'd been simply wading in and taking punishment his whole career, however, he wouldn't be nearly as sharp mentally or physically as he still is. He avoids taking too much unnecessary punishment. He takes calculated risks when he jumps in - and usually he gets the better of those exchanges when he does.
