duddy will be nothing but a punchbag for pavlik. the guy is an irishman living in new york who has some decent boxing talent, i mean common, no wonder he's been milked and put in the spotlight, promoters can make a mint out of him.

I know what these guys are saying, Duddy's a very good work in progress that would be a shame to see him prematurely shattered. He could well be ready for a title shot in the future, but why throw him to the lions if he not ready. Mora, on the other hand, I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, to see him thrown in with either Taylor or the main man Pavlik to see him obliterated on my TV screen as Mora is such rancid, disease infected pile of **** not even flies would land on him.

The truth is right here. For Duddy's sake he better take his time and mature as a fighter first.

Busy! Busy! Busy! Most of these guys are busy, Sturm is rematching with Griffin, Abraham is fighting Elock in Dec....and I told you no super middleweight:nono Miranda is at 168 now, Taylor is gonna rematch Pavilk or fight Mora and Winky is holding out for match with Oscar:deal As for Mackin he is not rated at this point so a win over him means little:verysad
Now lets land are flying saucers on the earth and see who Duddy might be able fight in real world :hey 6'2 David Lopez or 6'1 Marco Antonio Rubio would get Duddy ready a big guy like Kelly:bbb

this is the thing, do you actually see duddy ever maturing to the point where he is a serious contender for the world MW champ?

cause i really don't, he's just a cleverly worked cash cow in my eyes.

    Agreed.

Pavlik destroys him now, tomorrow and for the foreseeable future.
I think Duddy could hang with Miranda and Felix Sturm, both of whom are just a level below Pavlik, Winky and Jermain.

Im sorry to say this, but i believe Matt Macklin or Andy Lee could beat Duddy...

But Duddy may aswell cash in on the publicity he gets now...before he loses

My thoughts is that his promoters have lost faith in him ever beating B-level guys and figure cashing the cow in now is the best for everyone. If Duddy loses before to a guy like Lopez or Rubio, or even Sylvester, they lose the Irish crowd at the Garden that will make them money, his 0 is all he gots.

They most figure the risk of not taking the fight NOW, and waiting is too big.

Cash the check now, make the money, dumping Duddy on the side of the road on the way to the bank.

He's NEVER going to be ready. He's a class below these guys.

He should take a title fight as soon as he can land one.

Please don't think I'm defending Mora, cause I'm not. I'm just want to know where all the hate for this guys came from. I know he refused an offer to fight Taylor, but what else is it? He has a big mouth, always talking ****, or what?

I did see on Fightnews the other day with this Mora quote:

"I have what it takes to beat Pavlik".

    :rofl

The guy is a comedian. No reason to hate on him.

He shouldn't, because he gets smashed by any real contender. Duddy should take the money and run.
