Okay, so how much help does Cinco De Mayo gives to PPV sales?

Let's just say there's a popular Mexican/Mex-American boxer involve whether it's a main event or supporting attraction.

Difficult to say exactly how much. But his two biggest PPV's were on that date one with Oscar and now Cotto. You will need someone to do the stats to figure it out and again you can use various techniques to present it in different ways

    Here's my take on it:

Many people would be hesitant to pay for PPV, unless they know they will have several + people there to share it with.

On holidays such as this, people are going to get together anyway, and you also want something to do besides drinking, shouting, and firing your guns into the air, :D so it makes more sense for these "fringe" PPV customers to pony up.

    - Kind of like showing a major football game on Thanksgiving, except with PPV instead of charging the advertisers more.
