...how does everyone think he'd fare agianst JMM at this point? Sometimes, no matter how great a fighter is, another guy just has his number. Ken Norton had Ali's number...some say he won all 3 fights. Vernon Forrest had Shane Mosley's number, Jermain Taylor had Hopkins', and Antonio Traver had Roy Jones' number. Could it be possible that if they go at it a third time, JMM could win, or make it another highly competitive fight, ending in a somewhat controversial win for Pac?

I for one, doubt it, I think Pac would knock him out within 5 rounds, but just curious to see what everyone else thinks...based on boxing's tendency throughout the years for great boxers to have other guys to have their number, would JMM stand a chance?

Well seeing as JMM is now past prime and 36 then obviously Pac would be favourite, also would depend on the weight.

When both in their prime or close to their prime at the lower weights JMM would always outbox Pac and thats all that matters.

Pac has improved a lot since Pac-JMM II while was slowed down either by his advancing age or the extra lbs carried by his body at higher weight. JMM will be KOd the this time.

JMM has loss a step or two. He has gotten older and slower while pac looks like his still improving. I like pac by tko this time around if they fight again. I think pac's speed and power will be too much for marquez this time.

Juan Manuel Marquez is on the decline. People forget he struggled against Juan Diaz and was losing on the cards before the KO. Manny, on the other hand, has gotten bigger, and better by leaps and bounds. There should not be a trilogy. If you want trilogy, it should have been at 135, right after the 2nd fight.

You tell yourself that. Here's what actually happened in the lower weights.

    DRAW
    PTS WIN FOR PACQUIAO

pacquiao would probly beat him easy this time around. pacquiao will have the age advantage and he put on the weight a lot better than marquez. he'd be too strong for him at this point. manny by mid round tko.

I think if the fight is made now probably at 140-ish Pacquiao walks thru Marquez's shots and knocks him out within three. Would be a brutal mismatch at this point. I don't know if Marquez really wants a third fight now seeing how Pacquiao has performed up the weights.

If they met today at 147, or a catchweight near there, Pacquiao would destroy Marquez because after watching that PBF fight, the end of the line for him seems like 135.

I think a fight at 140 might be interesting...but I'd still go with Pacquiao by KO because Marquez is aging and would be too slow with the extra pounds.

I really believe Pac/JMM III doesn't even make sense anymore at this point. It seems JMM fans want this fight to give JMM another chance but when he loses again, I don't even wanna imagine the "JMM is no longer in his prime excuses. For the few Pac fans who wants to see the fight, they just want Pac to prove that he is the better fighter. Well, to me, there's nothing else to prove. The JMM exccuses would be too tough to take and Pac would only be called an "old man beater."

Anyway, to answer your question, If they fight at 140 or more, Pac will dominate, anything less, it would still be a somewhat competitive fight but Pac still wins convincingly.

JMM is shot now, plus this extra weigh has not done him anygood, if the fight is below 135, I think he still has a chance. But he is getting ond now. So at 140-147 Pac by KO
