Bunce - why: he is funny mixed with enthusiasm and a hint of exaggeration, example: explaining the speed of sam peter's punches.

Woodhall - why: believeable guy good analysis of fights, example: "believe you me"

Woodhall-objective,seems a decent bloke, knowledgable. He might be the only one where I couldn't pick a fault, not even a minor one like I can with say Lennox who states the obvious

Now HERE is the magic answer to this innocently made thread.

Its the only commentator/pundit that doesnt let bias sway his view, i.e the only man who wont let the paycheque get in the way of an honest analysis.

Sorry for being such a killjoy, but someone has to tell it like it is, before it turns into another McGuigan/Woodhall tribute thread.

Well, Im not sorry really. Why? why do you think?

It aint rocket science as that shitty old saying goes. Im just here to make sure people see things from a different angle from time to time.

This fella get's into this thread, simply for this quote..

"Winky Wright might aswell of brought a black board and chalk into the ring, because he completely schooled Jermaine Taylor"

Ian Darke with Woodhall would be an excellent combination - though not on Sky of course..... being objective and accurate with your opinions is not allowed, only blatant nuthuggery is permitted.

I imagine most people will agree that Woodhall and McGuigan are informed, interesting and about as unbiased as you're likely to get.

Jim Lampley and Ian Darke. They create excitement and make the fight a real event.

I agree with Primadonna Kool about Dwyer from Gambler's Advisory on YouTube. He gets some fights wrong but is an excellent analyst and is really articulate. He would be good as a pundit on TV.

Lampley does bull**** at times - I was embarrassed for him when watching Margo vs Cotto.

Jimmy Magee - a living legend of Irish commentary. He might call a punch 30 seconds after it first landed but his voice, enthusiasm and anecdotes have beeen the soundtrack to most of my favourite fights.

On British T.V. I would say Ian Darke.
