I think that they all want to go to Queensbury now and get their noses in the Saudi cash. Boxxer are the only promoters in the UK with no Saudi access. Forget about visibility on Sky, money talks now and Frank and to a lesser extent Hearn are in pole position.
All the promoters are being brought to the table for this Saudi/Wembley card…Queensbury hosting, with MR, Boxxer and Wasserman. All promoters who work for Saudi are basically agents now. Terki isn’t closing any doors on anybody who can bring something to the table.
I fully understand that the boxers all want to get a share of the Saudi money but where does this leave the British boxing scene ? I am deeply concerned...
The Saudis are about to give us probably the best ever (or at least the most commercially appealing) card on British soil. QP are really starting to pop now; the Irish card next week and July 20th/July 27 cards are going to be absolute bangers. I think the revenues coming from Saudi is given him the stability to jack up the UK cards. Boxxer are doing their best - they apparently have some decent stuff coming up. Im not sure what direction MR are going to be taking in the UK, so I get your concern here.
