It's so hard to pick between them. Okolie has great timing and that timing could be crucial in this fight. On the other hand, Chamberlain is more complete than Okolie is, he has more attributes. I'm going for Chamberlain on points but it's going to be a close fight up until the end. I think Chamberlain has great feet, but if there's one thing that is lacking it's his head movement. With okolie's timing of shots, that could be a problem. Chamberlain has to move constantly, he can't stay still. If he stays still, he's in trouble. If he stays still and tries to lure Okolie into throwing shots, Okolie will catch him eventually cause of the timing. Chamberlain has to pick his strategy carefully here, I'd go for using movement and trying to force okolie to throw at awkward angles. I think the sparring with Usyk would have been really useful as well. When you're sparring with someone like that, it could bring a higher level out of Chamberlain. If he brought that higher level against Okolie, he's gonna win.
I think Lawrence might gas out and chamberlain stops him in say the 10th, I get the feel okolie will just swing for the fences all night and tire out early.
Difficult to predict. Not seen enough of either to be honest, looking forward to it because of the build up & 'beef'. Okolie I don't rate as a blue chip prospect or anything but he has physical tools, can punch & has reach. Chamberlain doesn't seem to move his head or slip much so if Okolie is pumping the jab & firing the right behind it, it'll be difficult for Chamberlain, unless he employs movement & angles to offset Okolie. Looking forward to it, Okolie looks a lot bigger too.
Two guys who both still have yet to show a good win over a decent fighter. Okolie has bad defense but Chamberlain isn't a puncher by any standards. Okolie's my pick not based on much but I have a feeling if it goes to the cards its definitely his just because of politics. They seem to be putting much more into him than Chamberlain who I hadn't even heard of until their beef got publicized relatively recently.
Okolie wins via KO rounds 5-7. Thats my final prediction. However I originally was siding with Isaac to win this, its the mindset of both fighters and looking closer at previous performances that has led me to this. Okolie has a winning mindset.
