Lawrence didn`t look very skilled in this fight and stayed on the line after punching, not many counters landed inthis fight.
He wsn`t doing anything, just poking out a jab exploiting his reach, AJ looked far more skilled and threw better combo`s v Pulev and Lawrence`s wide stance won`t allow him to get out of the way of shots, the same way Wilder`s wide stance screwed him up v Fury in the rematch, this guy looks really basic, I can`t anything in there that Fury and AJ don`t do, he may have a power edge over Fury but the punches that stoped Wilder would stop Okolie and I didn`t see anything in his defense to stop Fury from hitting him a lot, he doesn`t have Fury`s head movement and reflexes.
David Allen who has sparred them all said on his stories that when he sparred Okolie he wondered what HW could beat him let alone CWs. Seems Okolie is very underrated in the forum.
I am not aware Okolie a Cruiserweight is scheduled to fight Fury. What I do know is he is a vastly improved fighter getting better.
He must have been pretty bad, Fury and AJ were better than this after 16 bouts, AJ beat Whyte in his 15th bout, although around his 17th fight Fury was floored by a blown up cruiserweight.
