Okolie is a physical beast. But technically limited. His physical attributes will take him right to the very top though. Unbelievable specimen
I wonder if he'll move up to heavyweight one day and if so, how he'll cope. Not sure he's big enough to mix it with some of the bigger heavyweights but could fight guys that are similar in build to Chisora/Whyte.
If Eddie Hearn intends to go to court then it may be a long time before we see Okolie back in a boxing ring. I know of examples where a boxer had to wait for more than 3 years before he could return. The legal system takes a long time.
Not that I have any particular fondness for Okolie but Eddie has played his part in making average boxers, multi millionaires when their talent doesn't deserve it. It's come back to bite him in the bottom now as boxers with their overinflated egos now know that Eddie isn't the only one in town with money.
I doubt Hearn is that fussed about losing Okolie. Hardly a big ticket seller or fan friendly fight style tbh.
The next 5-6 years in Okolipus’ career will be at HW. However as a CW currently he can’t expect to be paid a top HW purse until he has actually fought at HW and has a ranking there. He will clearly do well at HW, it will be interesting to see how he adjusts to no longer dominating all his opponents in size and reach.
He is now based in Dubai so this hiatus has probably benefitted him if he is preparing physically for a tilt at HW, given the amount of top level 'sports scientists' who work over there.
Wonder how his jaw will look in around 6 months time, my guess it will be considerably more square. I bet he will be eating 62 eggs a day, and his missus is also looking to be impregnated.
