The guy certainly has dynamite in his gloves and he has pretty quick hands. Might be able to take out the inactive and ageing Cunningham but I am always drawn to the fact Afolabi couldn't make it around Huck whose greatest quality is perhaps his gutsiness and then...well gutsiness.
Maybe he could beat Cunningham (who is faded at this point), but he'd have a snowball's chance in hell of beating Lebedev or Huck (who he already lost to convincingly). I actually have Lebedev rated #1 in the division at the moment. I thought he very clearly beat Huck, and he's the guy who impresses me most at the moment.
Haven't you heard cream rises to the top. I hope you know we ain't never gonna stop. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0NpeWe5sGk[/ame]
:good He took a little too long to deal with Jones for my liking, but I did think he clearly beat Huck by a good margin. There isn't a cruiserweight out there with a strong argument to rank above him, especially as USS is on the slide as you say. Maybe the winner of Jones-Hernandez? Even there it's questionable that either one sees the final bell. Afolabi is probably right around the top five and on the ascent. In time he could become the clear #2 after Lebedev, once the older guys are out of the picture. I definitely think he's better than the likes of Kayode and Diablo. Afolabi-Ross would be cool.
There's talk of a fight with Kolodziej on the Vitali undercard. If that doesn't happen, they should make Afolabi-Ross!
