Ola Afolabi fighting on Adamek Vitali undercard

Ola's been looking real good lately, albeit against C level guys........I hope he continues moving forward with this kind of success so he can get that rematch.

 

Sweet!! His knockout of Dunstan was the best part of the Klitschko-Haye card.

He'll probably steal the show again!

 

The Brits are sound asleep. :yep It's 6am their time.

The ones that stayed up until 4:30/5am for the HBO and Showtime cards won't be awake for many hours. :deal

Then, I'm one of the few on here who holds up the assertion (which to me seems ought to be quite obvious) that Wladimir is far more skilled than Vitali.

VK is successful due to his conditioning, durability, and awkwardness - but if we're talking purely of skill and talent Wladimir has him beat hands down. It's crazy that more people don't realize that. Everyone always just harps on about how Vitali is physically and mentally tougher, ignoring that those are just two of many factors in determing who's better overall. Wladimir is BY FAR the better brother.

 

well just cause ola "schooled" vitali in sparring, even idk if that 100 percent true..

doesn't mean he would beat vitali in a real boxing match...

 

I don't think Afolabi would win a real match. Sparring is different - which is why I'm able to believe it.

I could see Vitali just wanting to get some rounds of work out of the way and Afolabi being a lot hungrier and taking it to him. With Wladimir, he's so skilled and well-trained that it's hard to imagine him losing rounds even in mere sparring and holding back a bit.
