Ward couldn't took body shots from journeymen and went down. GGG will knock him out till round 4 or 5. Ward is vulnerable and he also takes some punches. Froch was down against Groves, Froch can not box. Don't understand his nickname Cobra. Pulev is a Cobra, look at this jab. Froch is just a brawler. GGG fights intelligent and will knock him out. He also wants to fight at 154 against Floyd, so there's no need fr him to step up to MW.
Who's to say Boone wouldn't test GGG, he KO'd Stevenson didn't he. Never underestimate Froch, how many times has he been sold short and still manages to win. That Groves shot would have KO'd anyone else, it only proves to me how tough Froch truly is. Floyd would probably lose to GGG, Floyd is also a coward and won't fight Pacquiao, so what's your point, do you really think he's even entertaining the idea?
Golovkin has skills, technique, he has snap on his punches and he really hits hard.......................Cotto refused to fight him, Void refused to fight Golovkin at 154, Quillin refused to fight him, Sturm refused to fight Golovkin, Geale had been refusing to fight Golovkin, but will fight him next, Golovkins is working on a fight with Soliman.......................
you can stop a desperate fanboy when the post is made of 'wouldda, coulda shoulda...HASNT DONE'. I have nothing but respect for GGG but fans like this only serve to turn him into a parody.
This is the way I tend to see it... not that he can't deliver a KO punch when the opportunity arises, of course. Golovkin mainly goes about his business delivering accurate, sustained and damaging attacks in a methodical, almost relentless fashion. Furthermore he's remarkably good at not taking much punishment while he does it - in fact, he actually strikes me as a very cautious fighter - which might sound a little bizarre given his reputation as KO artist. IMO Golovkin is a fearsome fighter and will be difficult to beat but it's not so much his one punch KO power as a combination of style and technique that make him dangerous.
Guys remember he didn't say hit like Wladimir klitscko or a david haye just a heavyweight. So please take that in mind. Judging by how you all reacted it seems like you heard "he's the hardest puncher of all time" or something like that. I'm pretty sure that he hits harder then lets say Arreola or Derek.
This is madness.. 70 pounds heavier, world championship contenders don't hit as hard as Golovkin? ..so Chisora or Arreola (with flu, jetlag, new trainer, whatever) would not drop Rosado? :nut [yt]5m7vhw9axvI[/yt]
Cannot freakin believe it. It makes no sense. Regarding the peoples that survived the distance, of course it's not that he hit them with his best overhand right. Every cruiser can hit like an heavy if he charges everything behind it. But, i still can't believe GGG can launch a shot comparable to a hw. He's a ****in middle! Too small, he can't even plant enough weight in his feets!
I think the reason some fighter say GGG hits like a HW might be this. If your are about the size of a HW who sparred Povetkin or Wach, maybe they wouldn't use their full power against someone they are sparring who is not in their size. So if the same person spars GGG, because GGG is smaller he might feel he needs to use his full power to gain a good sparring session.
Golovkin isn't a one punch knockout artist. he floored Adama a couple of times before finally stopping him.
