That's not a good thing. What a disgraceful performance by both fighters. Probably lost boxing some fans.

You should try to be more like Ola Afolabi: be fair and judge boxers by their ability.

Are you suggesting that countries show favoritism to fighters that are home based.
Outrageous!

Let's not forget Wlad had over 95% of his amateur fights in the "under 200" category.

Many of Wlad's opponents were bigger than himself, especially when he was a slender young guy in his early 20s:

Wlad's record:

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=7035&cat=boxer

Many of Wlad's opponents WEIGHED MORE THAN HE DID:

Thompson

Rahman

Austin

Jefferson

Moli

McCline

Koch

Shaheed

Purrity

Pannell

Dixon

LaRosa

McIntyre

Botowamungu

Martin x 2

Monroe x 2

Wolfgramme

G. Williamson

Maciel

For those 21 fights and a few others Wlad's opponents were bigger than he is. Frans Botha weighed exactly the same. About ten others were very close to the same weight...

Wlad has excellent boxing skills. If size was all that mattered, then the top heavyweights would be Marcellus Brown, Julius Long, Nicolay Valuev, Evgeny Orlov, and Tye Fields. All these men are bigger than Wladimir, but none of them are close to his athleticism.

Lennox Lewis was about the same size as Wlad, in fact had a longer reach at 84" to Wlad's 81" and longer arms 29.5" to Wlad's 26".

It's kinda funny that the Klitschkos are too tall and big and stuff, but Lewis was almost as tall, as heavy and had a longer reach.

He is absolut right.

11. This is bull****. I dont hate Wlad. I like him and he is the champ but we are all bored with him. Half the boxers I like dont speak good English. I rooted for Sam Peter at one point.
Tyson with his helium voice? Tua? Please! Americans are bored with Wlad's style and his glass chin and his in denial fans.

Majority of US boxing fans are low-income blacks and latinos. They resent slick white fighters.

theres just no big time market here like there was......too much other **** to watch, too many big fights end ****ed up and people feel ripped off, the average person thinks boxing is corrupt and whenever a mainstream fight does come on, you can guarantee a **** poor decision for the average sports fan watching...while the average boxing fan is just used to it
