...would be a great fight. Jones' power v Afolabi's guile and counter punching skills. I think the two would gel nicely to make a good tussle, with Afolabi 'doing a Maccarinelli' to win in the later rounds against a tiring, befuddled foe. Wonder if this fight could be made?
I've heard of him, and he's a good fighter, it's just that I don't think he'll fight again until another another comet passes. I don't like when beltholders are that inactive. That said, if it happens, I'd pick Jones by decision.

I very much doubt it! There are too many good fighters at cruiser weight.He beat Macca who is a good scalp in the African's fight record,but there are better fighters than the Brit out there at cruiser weight.
Why does no one see Afolabi as the true boxing great that he obviously is? Just because he's seen as a bit 'unfashionable' at the moment, people should see the bigger picture. This guy is pure class. No doubt y'all be jumping on the 'Kryptonite Man's' bandwagon in 12 months time when he's walked through the best in the division......
Jones would win this one pretty easily. Jones is just flat out better than Afolabi. The one area where Jones can be really weak is his workrate, but Afolabi doesn't throw more punches than Jones does.
