Honestly this is a hard one for me to pick a winner here, Enzo is a big banger, But Ola is a gym rat, I mean this mother ****er lived at Wildcard basicly while he was out here with Freddy Roach and had sparred with James Toney, Kingsley Ikeke and rumors are out there that he has also worked with Bhop in sparring.

Ola is a surpurb counter puncher and is never ever out of shape, as I said before the man lives in the gym. I do not think Ola is going to dominate Enzo but I do beleive he will win, but then again when you get to know someone in the gym its almost impossible to pick against them especially a person like Ola.

Who do you have in this fight:think has anybody seen Ola fight? what are your thoughts?

Yeah I've seen a bit of him. He looks pretty slick and a very good counter puncher as you say, decent jab aswell as decent power, but I saw a bit of his fight somewhere with DeLeon Tinsley and he looked a bit lacklustre at times, he was off balance at times as he throw everything into his punches, and at times he went on the defensive, if he does that I don't think he'll have enough to soak up Enzo's punches.

I like Ola, but I'm picking Enzo inside 7/8.

I think the timing is perfect for a guy like Ola, he is always in the gym and has been given a few weeks to get the proper sparring in for this fight, I think Ola wins this fight, if Enzo thinks he is going to go in there and just bull rush Ola, he is in for a rude awakening, a guy like Enzo serves Olas style.

That is what Enzo said he is planning on doing, He said he has been needed to take some anger out and Ola will be the one, I hope he does come in like that I really hope he thinks it is going to be that easy.

He is from the UK, just happend to train here in the states but in reality Ola is also fighting at home, Though Enzo is the star your right he might not get the nod but like I said earlier the time he has had to prepair should be enough considering the man is always in the gym.

It's going to take more than being a gym rate. Sure he might always be in condition, and sure he might of had good sparring, but he's never experienced a fight as big as an Enzo Maccarinelli world title fight in front of thousands of fans and on PPV.

Your right Enzo has the advantage of having been there done that in terms of the enviornment on that level, But I dont think that is going to decide who wins the fight, I really think that Ola has a live chance here and will prove himself in this fight.

Keep in mind Ola has not been stopped, Enzo has twice

    Ola's had 13 fights.

Enzo's been stopped twice yeah, but once very early on in the domestic scene, and then by David Haye. Like I said in another thread, getting stopped by Haye isn't the way to gauge a guy's chin.

I don't think Enzo has the best of chin's though, but he did ship a few big right hands from Haye in the 1st round or early in the 2nd prior to being stopped. I don't think Ola's power will be key in this fight, he's going to have to put so much into his shot's that he'll probably be too wary of Enzo's power in return to bother committing to his punches much.

Enzos chin is suspect to me but that is just my opinion and yes getting stopped by Haye isnt a bad thing but when you get stopped early in your career by a guy who has more losses then wins I think its safe to say that your button is not the greatest.

But you dont need a chin to win fights, I am also not banking on Olas power, I think Olas counter punching skills his ability to roll duck and slip shots all will be the factor this is not going to be a short night for Ola, if it is he will be the one getting stopped early, what I do think is that Ola will have to put in some good work in the early rounds and pick it up late in the fight.

and Honestly I see him winning, (Keep in mind this is also a person I known for six years)

I don't doubt you have much more knowledge on Ola than me.

It's possible he can win, but personally I'm picking Enzo.

Either way I'm looking forward to it, as long as Ola doesn't end up pulling out like Banks & Ramirez.

Keep in mind this is more of a personal pick than anything, I am hoping for a win for Ola here no doubt, but even if he doesnt I am hoping if anything he gives a good accounting of himself.
