For the record I predicted Povetkin UD's Wach, and Afolabi KO's Chak in the prediction league, at the last minute I changed to Chak, thinking if he fought intelligently he may get the nod possibly a gift since it was in Russia, I picked Troya to stop Cuenca and stuck with it.

The Chechen didn't pace himself too well. You throw the sink at a guy and he's still there with most of the fight to go...

How is he a fraud if we've literally seen the exact same scenario play out already?

Only people without any memory of Chak's career at all would see it as such. The rest of us knew he was a dangerous frontrunner that had serious pacing issues.

This wasn't exposure. It was history repeating itself, and in grand fashion at that.

Isn't Chechnya still a part of Russia?

99% of Americans aren't ethnic Americans.

To be clear, this isn't about boxing or Chakhievs abilty, just making a point about the arbitrary categorisation of ethnicity/race/nationality

Chak is no fraud, just has stamina and pacing issues. I'm not even sure his chin is that bad, but when you're tired you tend to go down easier.
Big credit to Afolabi though, awesome fight.

He was still in a deep sleep when they rolled him over. Sensational knockout.

Being that he fought for Russia in the Olympics I would say you are splitting hairs.

Chakhkiev is fantastic for a few rounds. you can see why he was such a great amateur. He just hasn't been well adapted to the pro game.

Chakhkiev is not a fraud. He is a very good fighter. But he has tactical problems. He starts too fast and unloads with full power with every punch. You cannot do that in a 12 rounder. It is good for a 3 rounder in amateurs.

He needs a good coach to make a smooth transition to pros. Both his KOs were due mostly of him gassing. Maybe his temperament is misleading him. He gots carried away easily. So I see his problems as tactical.
